craig gets shot trying to safe bethany /i love yous & offical?

Craigs POV
I'm on the street having just finished my shift when I hear reports of a seige at the bistro, Bethany and the girls are in there. I radio over " this is pc tinker going in", im told to wait for backup but i ignore it, mum says to leave it but I can't not when Bethany is concerned. I run in and the girls are on the ground and the gun is being pointed at Bethany I run I front of her taking the bullet and everything goes black.

Bethanys POV
I close my eyes preparing for the bullet to hit me, when it doesn't I open them to see Craig on the floor covered in blood. Amy calls an ambulance and I crawl over and put my hands under Craig. I'm in tears, he says very weakly " at least I saved you", he shuts his eyes I say " no don't you dare die on me Craig tinker". The ambulance arives and Beth rushes to me and says " you go in the ambulance with him, me and Kirk and the rest of the family will make our own way here". I hold his hand the whole journey on the way to the hospital he's rushed into surgery. I wait in the waiting room with Beth and Kirk when Craig doctor says " we successfully removed the bullet, he's still unconscious but available for visitors". Beth snd Kirk go in first and then let me see him, I walk into the room, and I can't believe it he still looks bad but a lot better then hd did earlier. I hold his hand and say " Craig tinker you are the bravest, funniest, kindest most amazing person I've ever met and I'm so sorry it took me this long to say it but I love you, And when you got shot all I could think about was how much I love you and i can't loose you, you make me a better person Craig tinker and no other words can explain how much you mean to me, so I hope to god it's enough".

Craigs POV
I wake up having just heard Bethanys confession, she can't see I've woken up and is about to leave, I say " I love you to, Bethany this may fell weird confessing our love before we're officiall but I've loved you from the moment I first saw you with Nathan and was jealous,". She turns around and smiles and says " well in that case Craig tinker will you be my boyfriend again?", I smile and say " of course I will". We kiss and Bethany looks at me and I nod she kisses the scar from where the bullet entered, she says " I was so worried you wouldn't make it and I wouldn't be able to tell you I loved you". I put my finger to her mouth and say " it's okay, I'm okay, I went in there trying to save everyone and I did and I know I've just said this but I'm never going to stop saying it I love you Bethany platt and im never going to stop until the day I die". She kisses me and says " I love you to Craig tinker and until you fully recover and head back to work you're staying at mine so I can look after you your mums already agreed ". I'm so lucky to be able to call Bethany platt my girlfriend again.
