Third POVIt had finally come down to the last full day of Seirin's summer Training Camp from Hell, and like they had agreed, Shutoku continued playing practice games with the red and black team. Unfortunately, for them, (Y/N) still had to sit on the King's side of the court, giving tips and advice to Coach Nakatani. Honestly, it had only been little things so far, nothing huge. Which she didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
"Game over!" The whistle blew, signaling the end of the practice game.
And once again, Shutoku had come out victorious with a score of 82-91. Naoki could tell that his cousin that was sitting beside him was not too happy as she let out a groan, a small glare on her face as the boys made their way back to their respective sides. They were all exhausted, it was easy to tell that by the volume of breathing that filled the gymnasium.
(Y/N) quickly compiled her notes and sent them to Naoki's phone as a file before she crutched her way back over to her own team, leaving Shutoku to discuss things that were observed throughout the duration of this training camp.
"We won three out of the three games we played with them at this camp. Huh," Nakatani started out with a hand on his chin, trying to figure out just exactly what Seirin was hiding.
It was odd that they were winning, not at all like they had when they faced them back in the prelims. And the older coach knew the (h/c) haired girl wasn't spilling the beans, so that left them all wondering.
"Maybe they're just having a bad day. Maybe they got lucky at the prelims," Takao casually suggested.
It was a reasonable answer in his mind. Oh, if only the point guard's coach agreed with him. In fact, Nakatani's opinion was the complete opposite.
"I would prefer to not think that we lost because of something as simple as that. Takao, go run."
Seeing the hawk eyed point guard flinch, Naoki gave his friend a sympathetic look before peering back to the rest of the team, having the file his cousin had sent him pulled up on his phone.
"Those of you who played against them should know better than anyone else. They were much stronger now than they were when we lost to them during the preliminaries. On top of that, they're strong without both Kagami and Bashira. If they keep growing like this, we'll have to be careful this winter," Nakatani threw out the warnings before turning to the pink haired manager in order to let him speak, being as that their team had a wonderful special guest observing them during all of these games.
Nodding his head, Naoki composed himself and took a step forward before pulling his phone out, tapping it a couple of times to wake it up, (Y/N)'s colorful and fancy notes decorating his screen.
"Coach has a point. Plus, more than likely, (Y/N) will be back on her feet by the time we face Seirin at the Winter Cup. But that doesn't mean we won't grow either. She gave us plenty to work on," the pink haired boy smiled with a slight mischievous tone to it as he held out his phone.
More than likely, he'd print these out and these would be the points that the orange and white team would work on before their next face off at the Winter Cup.
Outside, the boys of Seirin plus Riko with (Y/N) sitting down on the porch near them, observing about six large garbage cans full of ice, mist coming off of it from the temperature.
"What're these for?" Kuroko decided to question first.
"My special icing technique. It's great for sore muscles and fatigue," the second year coach smiled on.
Well, at least this didn't seem as terrible as the other 'special techniques' Riko had come up with in the past. Compared to those, this seemed like nothing at first. The second years decided to go first as they pulled up the legs of their shorts and stepped into the almost waist deep buckets of ice.
