Chapter 2: Reason to Murder

After the announcement from Monokuma, some began searching for a way out as Sakura and Hina checked the metal walls and Mondo and Leon checked out the podium Monokuma came from. Everyone else was checking out the digital handbook they had received.

Yasuhiro: I'm digging this digital handbook.

Hina: There's no use.

Mondo: Same here.

Kiyotaka: Don't lose heart, my friends. If we persevere, the way is bound to present itself.

Hina: I'm with captain pep talk. It's better to stay positive.

Sakura: I agree.

Byakuya: Well, I prefer to search alone.

Everyone: Huh?

Y/n: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but not that I don't trust you all. I like searching on my own as well.

Junko: Are you sure that's a good idea?

Byakuya: Considering one or more people are probably plotting my demise at this moment.

Byakuya began to leave as Mondo ran in front of him.

Mondo: Woah there, pal. You can't just do whatever you want.

Makoto: Hang on, guys. The last thing we want to do is fight.

Y/n: Is it really necessary to fight about this?

A thud was heard behind Y/n as he turned to see Makoto pass out from the shock of almost getting punched.

Y/n: What a drag...Come on buddy.

Y/n picked up Makoto's body before heading out of the gym.

Y/n: I'll catch up with you all later. Maizono, you're with me.

Sayaka: U-Uh sure.

Sayaka ran ahead to catch up with Y/n leaving everyone in the gym.

Hours later, everyone except Y/n was in the dining hall waiting before Makoto and Sayaka joined everyone.

Hina: Hey, there's the man at the hour! Are you okay?

Makoto: Sure. Never better.

Mondo: So let's jock the whole thing up to stress.

Makoto: No worries, Owada.

Celeste: I doubt any of us will kill in front of witnesses.

Kiyotaka: Right! Listen up, I hereby call to order the first Hope's Peak High School reconnaissance committee briefing academy affairs. Let's review our intel.

The scene cuts to both Celeste and Mondo at the front entrance where Mondo was kicking the door.

Mondo: I kicked at the stupid door for an hour. Nothing. Didn't make a dent. Things hard as Iron.

Celeste: It is Iron so that makes sense.

Next, Sakura and Hina were standing in front of a stairwell but a gate was blocking it.
