Chapter 4, New "student"

(A/N: I didn't really know what to do for the cover so enjoy some baldi sketches 💀)

It was a cold Monday morning. You had just got into the building (the school), and you headed to Baldis room. You knocked on the door, unsure if he was on the classroom or not. "Baldi? You there? Its me y/n!" You chirped trying to look into the window, trying to see if he was there. Suddenly you felt cold hands grip onto your shoulders. "Good morning dear!" Baldi had smiled. You turned around after having a slight heart attack from his touch and looked up at him. "Sorry, did I scare you? I really didn't mean to-.." Baldi had said with slight worry in his voice now looking at your facial expression. "I'm fine, d-dont worry!" You stuttered as you tried to pull yourself together, only to be caught off guard almost immediately after. He had pinned you too the door. What was he doing? If he was going to pull anything..I mean..at least do it elsewhere! You squealed, realizing you were stuck between his arms. Your face felt as if it was going to melt off!! He seemed to notice what a blushing mess you were than smirked looking down. "Sorry, did I alarm you? I was trying to get the door knob here..i-i mean unless you wanna stay in the hallway-" he said now slightly laughing about the very, dirty misunderstanding. You felt so stupid! You thought he was trying to pin you down! He was trying to get into the classroom! 'Jeez..whats wrong with me this morning' you thought to yourself as you covered your face out of embarrassment, moving to the side so he could open the door. A few moments later, he opened the door and you two went inside. You put your stuff down on a small kids desk behind his desk. Why it was there you didn't know, but you thought it was a good place for your stuff. After you put your stuff down you went to go grab your landyard by the door. You slipped it over your head and took a deep breath. You turned around to see baldi at his desk, drinking a coffee as he gave you his eyes. "You..look wonderful today, y/n.." he said, slightly blushing, realizing that you were looking. You smiled and rubbed the back of your neck, looking down, now slightly blushing. "O-oh-! Thank you B-baldi!"

There was a slight silence of you two just exchanging stares. "Well...I should stop waisting time already." Baldi said as he pulled himself together. He started grabbing papers off his desk and started putting them in a pile. "I'll go get the kids." You said smiling at him. "Wont take longer than a minute!" You said playfully, winking at him.

- Baldis pov -

I got in to the school a bit late, but not too late to the point where I missed actual school time. I was greeted by the Principal of the thing. He seemed to have been staring at me, because I saw him look away. I saw hatred in his eyes. Lucky for him, I wasn't afraid to speak my feelings. "Hello Principal. Could I help you with something?" I said with a glare. "Hello professor.." The principal said as he returned the glare. "There is nothing you could possibly do for me currently.." the principal had said. "Wonderful." I stated with a creepy smile. I walked to my classroom after that strange incounter, only to see y/n. They looked to be looking through the door's window. Were they looking for me? we exchanged our greeting, and I attempted to open the door. I didn't realize I had them pinned down. I saw their face flush..thats when I started to feel my own start to flush. I had to set myself straight than opened the door. Once me and y/n got in, they put on their landyard and went to get the kids. However, before they left they winked at me. Y/n ...winked..at me..

I felt weak in the knees.

I went to go get the kids, who were outside the classroom, lined up against the walls. I saw all their faces light up when they saw me, which made me smile. One kid ran up to me a hugged me. She was a very sweet kid, she had a long sleeved red shirt, a blue skirt, and jeans. She had very fluffy, curly dark brown hair. It was so dark you could mistake it as black. "Hello (Performed pronoun)! I missed you!" She said, giggling. "I missed you too, playtime" I said smiling, bending down to her height. She wasn't a fifth grader, but she was the principals daughter. She kinda went ever she wanted. I believe she is a 2nd grader, but I was unsure. Either way, she liked this classroom, so we let her be. "Can you play with me?" She said, looking up at me, holding out her pink jump rope. "I have to help with the classroom, but I promise I'll play with you at lunch, okay?" I said, trying to break the news to her as calmly as possible. Luckily, she just smiled and agreed to wait till lunch. What a sweet girl.

"Alright kiddos! Who is ready too learn some math?" I said smiling down at the kids in front of me. They all groaned, rolling their eyes. "Do we have too?" A little boy said, looking up to me. I sighed, than put on a huge smile. "Yes, but its going to be so fun! I'm here to help you guys if you need it, don't forget that!" I smiled as I put my hands on my hips. I opened the door, taking a quick glance at Baldi. I didn't know why but my heart skipped a beat. I put that aside and moved out of the way, so the kids could enter the classroom. Baldi was sitting on the end of his desk, drinking coffee, with his glasses on as he read a book. I sat by the door, leaning against the door frame, checking that all the kids were in. I walked in and closed the door, as Baldi began the lesson. "Who is ready to learn only the best subject in the world?" He asked as he smiled to himself. He put his coffee, book, and glasses to the side and hopped off the desk and grabbed a peice of chalk. I sat down in one of the kids desks, and heard the kids start to giggle. "(Preferred pronoun) y/l/n, you can't sit there! Your not a student!" The kids laughed, looking at me. "Ahwh..but I wanna learn about 'the best subject in the world' too!" I said smiling, as I quoted Baldi. He gave me a glance, than smirked. He turned around to face the class and he leaned against the chalk board, looking at me. "Hey- new student-!" He said referring to me, playing along with the joke. "If you wanna learn so bad, why don't you pay attention to class.." he said smirking, now turning back to the chalk board to finish the last math problem on the chalk board. I looked back the students and mocked him, mouthing what he said making silly faces. He turned around to see everyone giggling. "Alright class, settle down. Pull out something to write with, and a peice of paper, and start writing these questions down." He said. I pulled out my own stuff, to get some of my own actual work done. I didn't have much to do, other than check both of mine and Baldis emails.

- Nobody's pov -

Sooner or later, the class period seemed to go by very quickly. Suddenly the bell rung and you and baldi were left alone in the classroom. "So new student.." said baldi, teasing you. "Pop quiz. Who is the best teacher here?" He said, walking towards you. "Thats a trick question! You're like the only teacher here.." you said looking down, smiling. Than suddenly he put both of his hands on the desk you were sitting in, and leaned towards you. Your face flushed almost immediately..he was so close to you..your face..

He smirked and opened his mouth to say something, as he leaned so close to you, you felt his breath against your ear, only to be cut off. "Mr. Baldi? Why are you trying to kiss y/n? Is this a game? Can I play?"

It was playtime. "He wasn't gonna k-kiss me playtime.." You said in a panic, now a blushing mess. He wasnt gonna kiss you. Right? Baldi shot her a very angry look until I noticed. I playfully punched his arm, making him look at me. "Chill out..she is only a kid and walked into..u-uhm.." I said Whispering in his Ear, than blushing as I stumbled over my words. "I-into..a teacher giving a unfair pop quiz!" You said smiling and you looked over to playtime. "So what brings you in here, playtime?" You said getting out of the kids desk. "You said we could play at lunch and its lunch break!" She smiled looking up at me. "Oh! Silly me.." you said laughing the fact that you forgot about that off. You looked back at Baldi and smiled. "I'm going to go play with my best friend here!" You said looking at him, than at her, than back at him. "You can go outside, ill wait for you in the hall- I just got to grab something first." You said, smiling at her. "Okay!" She said happily, skipping out into the hall. You walked over to baldi and hugged him. He was by his desk, and he leaned back onto it as you hugged him. "Loved the lesson today sir, I learned a lot-!" You said, laughing. "Anything for my favorite student.." He said pushing me back a bit, putting his hand around your waist. Your face flushed bright. You started to nervously laugh, and looked to the side. "S-see you next period Baldi-" you said running after playtime, trying to hide your red face. He seemed to smile good bye to you, but what you didn't see was the glare he gave playtime. The rage filled glare he gave the kid.

You heard the slap of a ruler.
