I laid in bed, staring at the ceiling trying to find a comfortable position in Chris' bed. He was currently out filming a video with his brothers, I never really understanded why they went out so late to film.
I pulled the blanket up further to my nose, slightly breathing in the scent which would normally put me to sleep. I got up out of bed, walking over to Chris' closet picking out a random hoodie. I went over to his night stand and picked up his cologne, spraying it on the hoodie.
I slowly pulled it over my head, taking in the strong scent before collapsing onto his bed. I moved to Chris' side of the bed, being engulfed in his smell. I hugged the pillow into my chest. I stayed in this position for 10-15 minutes, still not being able to fall asleep.
I was hoping that any second Chris would walk through the door and come cuddle with me but there was no point. He wouldn't be home for another hour or so. I rolled over again groaning at the lack of sleep.
I hugged the blanket further into my chest if that was even possible. I stared at the wall for I don't know how long but it was long enough for Chris to have come home. I heard him fumble around for a second before getting into bed next to me.
He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me as close to him as possible. I laid there for a second contemplating wether or not I should say something.
I rolled around to face him, his eyes were still open but they had light eye bags under them.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up" he quickly apologised. I looked at him sympathetically, laying one of my hands on the side of his face. I slowly caressed his face as he closed his eyes.
"It's okay, I was already awake, I couldn't sleep" I responded softly not trying to frighten the half asleep boy.
He pulled me a bit closer to him, tightening his grip on my waist.
"I missed you" he whispered.
"I missed you to" I mumbled into his chest as my hand left his face and went to his hair. I played with it as he talked about the video they filmed.
"Nick kept on yelling in my ear" he complained. "I'm gonna go deaf someday"
His voice kept on getting softer until his words turned into soft snores. I stared at the sleeping boy before nuzzling my head into his neck. I laid a light kiss on his neck as I whispered good night to him knowing I wasn't gonna get an answer.
I ran my fingers through his hair as I fell asleep.
