Our story begins in Ancient Greece, about 2000 years before modern day. Adonis, a slim, muscular man, was plotting with his partner, a common crook, to infiltrate the god's party that was scheduled in that very city that very night. Their goal, however, wasn't to steal any gold or jewels, a common wish for the crooks among the city. They only wanted a taste of the food the gods ate, a small taste of the power the gods had. The plan was set. The only thing left to do was to actually follow through with it.

"Let's go," his friend said. They needed to get into the building before they started setting up, and then find some place to hide out. They spoke very little as they got into the building, and hid within one of the many rooms there, and since the others had already finished cleaning, they decided on a simple broom closet. 5 hours later, Adonis was running. Down the stairs, up the stairs, down a hall, through doors, through windows, all over. His partner was already captured, and Adonis was being pursued by guards and gods alike. How did he get in this situation? He was sneaking around the buffet when he accidentally locked eyes with a sort of humanoid fish. It looked kind of like a mermaid except it had legs, and it looked like fish all over, except for the head, which was human as human could be. It was oddly beautiful, and Adonis was transfixed, therefore, he locked eyes with the creature.

Adonis turned and ran away like an idiot, and now he was being chased by the entire party. What luck, he thought. And he must have jinxed himself even more, because he not only ran straight into a dead end, but the room also had dungeon cells for some reason, which was definitely not in the building plans. He should know, he helped make them. He sighed and turned around at the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. Something was strange about them though, they weren't running, and there it sounded like it was only one person coming down the steps.

When the person finally reached the bottom, Adonis realized he was definitely in for trouble. He was looking straight at the goddess of love, Aphrodite.
