July 1st, 7:00 amRiddle Manor
Iris was sitting in her bedroom, Regulus and Mattheo sitting next to her. All of their eyes were fixed on the screen in front of them, which was playing some series called 'Stranger Things.'
Iris turned to Regulus, and she looked at his eyes. His green eyes were intently focused on the screen, not even noticing the girl staring at him.
Iris' eyes wandered over his face, before she turned back to the screen.
Regulus turned to Iris, his eyes roaming over her face. He smiled softly turning back to the screen.
Iris screamed, and Regulus jumped. Her eyes were still fixed on the screen, and she had jumped so violently, she had landed in his lap. She blushed a bit, and Regulus smirked. "Was that on purpose?"
Iris gasped, "Of course not!" She punched his arm.
"Well are you comfortable?" He asked, still smirking, and Iris mumbled something.
Regulus chuckled lowly. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled her into him, placing his chin on her shoulder.
Iris sighed. Regulus was sooo giving her mixed signals. He kept doing stuff like this and the next moment he pretended to be nothing more than friends.
"YOU ARE NOTHING MORE THAN FRIENDS." James Yelled.
"Oh let the kids be." Sirius sighed, leaning on Remus' shoulder.
Mattheo watched them silently, smirking to himself. When the hell would they realize and get together?
Iris jumped again as the door opened and she shot out of his arms, and the pair scrambled away from each other.
Sirius and Lily stood there, laughing.
"You're lucky we weren't James or Remus." Sirius laughed. Regulus' ears went red.
"Anyway, once you two are done cuddling and snogging, you can come down. Dinner's ready." Lily said, and the hall laughed at the pair's faces. Iris and Regulus were looking as far away as possible from each other, both of their cheeks tinged pink.
Iris' face went red. "Ma! We weren't-"
"Sure, Honey!" Lily cooed. "And I'm not married to James."
Iris rolled her eyes, and Sirius and Lily left. Still avoiding each other's eyes, the pair got out of the room, running down the stairs, where Tom was smirking at them.
They sat down around the table, and Dinner was served. "Hey, Iris." Mattheo started.
"Yeah?"
"Remember that 'date' we went on?" Mattheo asked, and Iris nodded.
"Mmhm.." She said, and Mattheo continued.
"Hermione told me why they were following us." Regulus coughed, and he shot Mattheo a glare worthy of Walburga Black.
"Don't you dare." He said, his voice low, and threatening, but Mattheo, who was used to this, shot him a smirk.
"It was because someone-" Mattheo was interrupted by a little red ball slamming into him. He clutched his side with an oomph, and Iris jumped up.
"Seraphine!" She cried, leaning down and hugging the 11-year-old.
"Ivy!" Ivy was Seraphine's nickname for Iris. Seraphine was the only one who could call Iris that.
"Had fun at Lyra's house?" Iris asked, and Seraphine nodded vigorously. "We even pranked her elder sister!"
"Romilda Vane, right?" Seraphine nodded. Iris patted the seat next to her, and the girl jumped into it.
"You ready for Hogwarts, Sera?" Regulus asked, and the girl looked at him with wide blue eyes. "Yep. You ready to-" She coughed, "You ready for your fifth year?"
Regulus nodded.
"Ohh isn't this-" Pansy started, and Iris nodded. "Yep!"
"Isn't this what?" A Slytherin asked, making Iris shrug.
