As we were walking, I was looking around. It was windy, the trees were tall and their leaves were a perfect green. The sun was lighting the forest and warming us. I was smelling the air when I smelled his perfume. I looked at him and saw that he was already looking at me. He was so beautiful. I looked at his eyes and I felt these little butterflies in my stomach. I blushed and lowered my head. He reached my hand and kindly took it in his. My heart jumped. We kept walking a while like this when he slowly pulled me closer to him. He made me turn on myself and stopped me right in front of him. We were not walking anymore. I was just there, in front of him, holding his hand and looking in his eyes. I was absorbed by him… his hair, his eyes, his lips, his warm hand holding mine, his perfume, him slowly breathing. He was also looking at me but he was smiling. His eyes were looking at me sparkling. Slowly my heart started melting, his smile, his pretty smile totally got me and I couldn't resist. I smiled too. He gently made me turn again but this time, when he stopped me, I was back to him. He let my hand go and before I had time to do anything, he hugged me above the hips. I just smiled and then laughed. His head was leaning on my shoulder. One of my hand joined one of his and held it, my other hand was on the side of his head and I was slowly caressing him. Gradually I started playing with his hair, my eyes closed and I just mumbled these three short words and he laughed. He was so cute and it made me smile more. I turned my head and kissed him on the cheek. He buried his face in the crook of my neck, which made me laugh a lot. I finally turned face to him and this time I hugged him and he told me these three words. We stayed there, in the forest all evening. We ran in the woods and chased each other. We laughed, smiled and had fun. That walk was just wonderful and so was he. We walk back home looking up at the stars, his arm around my shoulders, my head on his shoulder. I would have never thought that later, we would have been next to each other, sitting on the couch telling our kids about that evening.
