After growing up in the shadow of a glamorous older sister, being overlooked by her parents, and accepting being all things ordinary, Noah Nelson does the unthinkable. She graduates with a degree in journalism and lands a dream job at the most popular women's magazine in the country.
Except, she's just an assistant to the renowned fashion go-to Celeste Mitchell. Instead of making waves with her writing, Noah is making runs for coffee and dry-cleaning.
When Noah accidentally bumps into the NBA's most sought-after bachelor Rift Taylor in a not-so meet-cute, she brushes it off as a funny mishap to her boss. That is until Celeste proposes she pursue Rift and write about it. Finally given an opportunity to prove herself as a writer, and possibly catch a dream guy, Noah accepts the challenge.
With the help of her older sister for all things style and glam, Noah sets out to dazzle Rift Taylor. Only, at every turn, there's her best friend Wes, who insists Noah is fine as is. The more Wes works against her, the more Noah begins to question his motives, and soon her heart.
