The door was not locked and swung open with easy, the hall was long and dark and most curiously of all filled with life sized wax dolls. Firemen, doctor's, ladies with fancy dress on you name it.

The three children stared in awe at the collection, it was fantastic but also rather frightening. "How queer" mused Mary, she turned to Edward who looked absolutely petrified. "Marryyy its creepy" ed whined. Mary rolled her eyes and turned to follow dick who was already halfway down the hall Edward scuttling nervously behind her.

Dick was admiring a statue of a fireman when the noise began, it was a thumping sound like boots on wooden planks and it was drawing nearer.

The three children dove behind a large crate with dick peeping out over the top. Out into the corridor walked a lumber jack. Dick slid down the side of the box white as a sheet "dick!" Mary exclaimed quietly "whatever is the matter you look as if you have seen a ghost" dick let out a shake breath and explained to the other two what he had seen, ed looked like he was about to faint.

"We need to leave now!" marry said firmly as she helped Edward to his feet, dick nodded and hastened towards the door, but once he reached it, he found it to be locked. Dam he swore as he rattled the door handle but to no avail, he turned back to the other two with a

Grimace "well" Mary said with a slight panicked tone "we will just have to find another exit wont we?" ed sniffled hanging on to his sisters arm looking pathetic but nonetheless he nodded in agreement.
