We cut to a room where we see an elder lady talking to a young girl as the clock silently ticks

Elder Lady: Girl, I flat out don't know what to do with you. We've tried fostering, state-assisted homes, youth support groups, and every time for no good reason I can see you up sticks and run

The lady then grabs a sheet of paper and looks at it

Elder Lady: Seems to me, people m'self included are bendin' over backwards to give you a home, a future...and you just throw it back in their faces! Says here you're-an' I quote... "Uncommonly bright...With deep socialization issues"

The elder lady puts the paper down and looks at the little girl

Elder Lady: Now to me, that's just a fancy way of sayin' you think you're better than the rest of us ordinary, everyday folk. Bottom line, you see yourself as a cut above, a real tough cookie. But you what I see when I look at you?

We then see the elder lady is talking to a younger Verity who just stares at her with no emotion

Elder Lady: I see a frightened little girl...In a world of hurt and pain

(Today: Northwest Nebraska)

We cut to Verity wearing a harness as she starts to descend inside the bunker as the others watch from the top

Hunter: Verity...You okay?

Verity: Fine! Yeah! Dandy...

We cut to the top where we see the others in the forest. With Ratchet, Y/N, and Bumblebee in their holomatter forms

Hunter: Was this, y'know, a good idea letting her go down first?

Jimmy: Like we had a choice in the matter! Still, I know what you mean. She makes this big show of how tough and independent she is...But sometimes I wonder

Ratchet: Hunter, Jimmy, listen

Jimmy and Hunter look at Ratchet

Ratchet: I'm still not quite sure how you talked me and Y/N into this, but the first sign of trouble, above or below ground...This little adventure is over. Understood?

Jimmy: But-

Y/N: No buts, the command bunker may be abandoned, but the Decepticons are prone to leave traps for intruders. Such as small-sized and organics like yourself.

Jimmy: Look...(puts on his harness) we know our snap-happy mystery man got in and out okay. We can, too

Hunter: (Puts on his harness) Bottom line-if we want to find out why these Decepticons broke protocol and switched hidey holes, we need to be able to see the bigger picture

We cut inside the bunker where we see Verity reached the bottom. She then grabs a flare and lights it as a blue light emits from it. Back at the surface Bumblebee looks at Hunter and Jimmy

Bumblebee: Just...Be careful is all. We can't risk any kind of Holomatter recce or invasion scan, you, well...You're going in blind

Hunter and Jimmy nod before descending down inside the bunker. The Holomatter of the three Autobots disappear

Ratchet: I hate this, Bumblebee

Y/N: I'm slightly on board with Ratchet Bee
