What's Behind This Mask?

Wildberry P.O.V

I can't stand parents, wanting you to get perfects grades and all, you say what you want to become one day then and they support you for that, after awhile they don't trust you on that and want you to become something safer like a doctor.

It's doesn't make sense to me, it's hard thinking like this on the bus because of the loudness, a whole bus fight happened a few minutes ago, the people were rushed off the bus, I see clotted cream, he sat next to me as we started to talk.

"Hey,  how was you sleep last night?" he asked with a yawn after "I didn't get much sleep, but I'm still up." He seemed shocked "How could you not get sleep!?" There is now was a very concerned clotted cream. "Idk, maybe because my parents were yelling all night." It grew silent.

We finally made it to school and i almost forgot me and clotted have the same classes in the morning, i walk to my seat and the bell rings as i sit down. The teacher stands up and starts talking "Alright class, today we'll be switching seats!!"

Ok, now that we've arranged our seats, i get to sit next to clotted and talk with him through the hour, and luckily our teacher said these will be our seats for the other classes as well.

Clotted cream P.O.V

Yes, i get to sit next to wildberry all day until the last class, i was getting distracted very easily today because I've been noticing scars on wildberries face and arms, I'm worried as ever about him.

At Break

Finally it's break, and today is the second to last day until the weekend, whoo hoo!! Besides that, wildberry comes and sit next to me, i stare at him as he looks at me "Wildberry." He widened his eyes and lowered them again "Yeah?" he sounded not as confident as he use to sound "What happened?" He widened his eyes again, he seemed to know what i was talking about as he shivered "W-why bother?" He shakily replied to me, My face grew red with anger "WHAT HAPPENED!?" I shouted.

He looked down and got up to walk away, I grabbed his arm but he pulled away "Please, you have yo tell me what happened to you!?" I cried as tears trickled down my face, He looked over his shoulder at me as he was tearing as well.

Wildberry P.O.V

"Fine...I'll tell you everything." We went and sat down on the bench again "So tell me.." He started but i interrupted with "Listen, As a kid my parents always believed my goals and knew I would make it, but that all went down the gutter when i was about 15, They would always tell me that i need to become something safer, or say things like: "we need you alive, knowing your weak and probably even die with a flick of a switch." My mom was a alcoholic and who knows where the hell my dad is now, But they use to hit me sometimes when i asked too much, That explains the scars. But she is gone now and I'm home alone."

He pulled me into a hug "I'm so sorry." He whispered "It's all fine-"  I sniffled, We hadn't noticed that almost everyone was gone so we got up and rushed to class.

hen we got to class our teacher told us we have to have a valid reason for being late to class, we told her we lost track of time so she allowed us to sit down and listen to the rest of class.

Soon after our last two classes ended we headed out of school and we decided to head to his house.

We studied, and then we decided I would stay over a few nights cause his mother is gone, We both played some games, and then watched a movie.

As the movie was on clotted cream fell asleep with his head on my shoulder, A faint blush covered my face, but then I took him into my arms for no quite reason, I laid down on the couch and dozed off with him in my arms.
