WORD COUNT: 800+
You walk through the poorly lighted hallways with candles. You were progressing with the information that you had been given. You know something is going to happen tonight but weren't sure how many are involved and who to trust.
It seems that a couple of individuals have decided to open their mouths about this haven. It was hard to tell who was on your side or against you. It was just human behavior to act on their own beliefs.
The four people that you formerly knew very well during your time at the academy are the ones who have good heads on their shoulders to follow your request. The problem was that they don't trust you, which is reasonable. You had killed two people in front of them cold-blooded as they watched in pure horror as you took their lives in front of them. The people you trusted wanted to protect and remain to do so from a distance. There isn't a day that passes those deaths caused by your haunt on daily bases.
You held the old notebook in your hand as your mask was clicking against your belt away from your face. You were confident there wasn't anyone on this floor other than Daichi. The small bag that held all the weapons your soldiers took off of their person when they were unconscious.
You could hear the boys whispering behind the thin walls as you stood in front of the door before knocking. They immediately quieted down and waited for the door to open, as you inserted the key to unlock it.
You open the door to only step inside immediately, getting glared at and getting started with suspicion.
"I will just be straight to the reason why I am here. There is some shit going down tonight. I know what I am gonna ask is a lot." You threw the bag in the middle to break the silence where the weapons clank against each other before continuing. "I need you, four to protect the small children below 10 years old and get them to your bases one way or another. I don't care how to just get them out of here. "
"Why-" You interrupted Midoriya before he could answer his questions.
"They are our future along with our hope of stopping the spread of the virus. I managed to find a cure with all my searching here." You clap one of your hands on this beaten-up notebook. "I am trusting it to you because I know you would only use it for good."
"We don't trust you, (Y/N)." Kirishima voices all their thoughts.
"I don't blame you either. I had kept my word to Aizawa to keep you guys safe. I don't plan on breaking it tonight. All I ask is for the children to be protected by the legendary trio along with unbreakable. Ensure this notebook reaches Aizawa." You held out the notebook for Midoriya to grab. Bakugou was listening but was clicking back his weapons on his body along with Todoroki.
"What is going to happen?" Midoriya asks out of curiosity.
"An attack from other groups all at once. There are backstabbers in this building and not sure who to trust. The children's rooms are on the next floor on the left." You took off the walkie from your waist and gave it to Kirishima.
"I mean it if you guys are swamped or anything back up. Say Black Goose, you will either get me or someone who I trust with my life to assist."
"Black Goose," Kirishima says with a confused expression all over his face.
"What's for us if we were to do this?" Bakugou stands up and walks toward you without hesitation on his step as he glares into your eyes.
"Anything you want, and I will grant your wish." You turn away from him and open the door to leave the room. You stopped at the door frame and tilt your head to the side to glance over at them with a sad closed smile. "I know I can trust you guys even when you hate me for what I did. You wouldn't turn away from a child screaming."
"Get prepared to see blood being shredded tonight, regardless of their age and Bakugou." You put on your mask. "Trust your gut, you have better instincts on telling someone's intentions. If you have bad feelings, blast them off to hell. "
The 17-year-old stares at the young child feeling a great sense of uneasiness. The blond whispers to your ear as everyone is following this child. "I don't trust this kid."If only they had trusted Bakugou's instinct, perhaps this wouldn't have been this future outcome from the consequences of trusting a person who looked innocent to be someone so vile. It was an adult acting as a child wanting to lead them to their deaths and bragging rights.
