My breathing grew heavier, i was sweating when i suddenly gasped and sat up on my bed.

I rubbed my eyes before opening them to see the bright sunlight peeking through the window.

So that was a nightmare again. I buried my face in my palms for few seconds trying to get the picture of that dark attic out of my mind. That was scary, why did i called that women mommy? And why was i so scared and hiding under the bed? I sighed. These nightmares keeps getting worse each night. I'm even scared to sleep, knowing i will have suffer another horrible dream in my sleep.

Why am i seeing these scenes in my dreams? Who is this Mommy?

I got up from the bed and made my way towards washroom. A relaxing shower the first thing in the morning has always been my favorite.

After cleaning up myself i walked towards my wardrobe searching for a perfect outfit for today. Finally, a red floral dress hugged my body perfectly. I smiled seeing myself in the mirror.

"You look beautiful."

I turned around to see Alice, my roommate leaning against the doorframe watching me with a smile.

"Thanks, I didn't see you when i woke up. Where were you?"

"I had went to my brother's, he needed some help with a project so i had to sneak out."

"Alright, you have plans today?"

I asked turning back towards the mirror, I started doing my hair.

"Well, I'm going on a library date with Rick. As you know, he loves reading books. Thought might as well give him a company this time."

"That's great, I'm sure you both would look good together. Your personalities are similar and i can tell he might have a crush on you as well."

She chuckled at my reply, "we are just friends for now. Don't get your hopes high just yet."

I pulled my hair in messy ponytail. After i was done with my light makeup, i turned towards Alice, she eating an apple sitting on the edge of her bed.

"I'll get going then, after the first lecture I'll be going out with Ralph. He wants to take me on a long drive. Says it would be more fun when we bunk our lectures for it."

Alice sighed sitting straight turning towards me. "He knows you don't like to bunk classes, specially when we are so close to exams. And you didn't even reject him?"

Alice never liked Ralph since the first day i introduced him to her as my boyfriend. She says he is just playing with me. But i believe he wouldn't do anything wrong with me. We have been dating since last year, and he never once tried to force himself, or even argue a lot with me. He is always so understanding and respectful towards me, which makes me fall for him even more.

"I tried to make him understand but you know how stubborn he can be sometimes, he just had to use his charming spell on me and i agreed."

Alice scoffed, "whatever, i just hope he doesn't hurt you in anyway. That's all what matter to me. If you are not happy then broke up. I'm always here for you."

I smiled and gave her a tight hug, "thank you for caring so much for me. I love you"

"Love you too."

I grabbed my bag and left the room after bidding her bye. My first class of biology was soon finished and I was making my way out of the class, I saw Ralph leaning on his locker....I smiled and went towards him, he was talking to his friends.

As soon as he noticed my presence, he turned towards me sending his friends away, and that made me smile as i wrapped my hands around his neck and he pulled me closer.
