Welcome to The Love You Give and Take. My name is Bella and this is my first ever story. Please don't hesitate to give me pointers and and constructive criticism. I am here to grow as a writer. I have read many Older Brother stories and have found inspiration from them. There will be similarities, but it stems from my own mind. If you see something that looks similar to another other please tell me and I will give credit where it is due. I hope you enjoy my book and I am excited to write it.

Characters

Zara Monroe

Age: 17

Description: A girl who has been through too much, but wishes for a better life. Was left behind by her brothers to live with their abusive father after their mother left. Has a drug problem that stemmed from years of abuse. Loves her brothers but finds it difficult to forgive them. Was closest with Declan

Physical Description: 5'0 stunted growth due to malnourishment. Has long wavy black hair and blue eyes. Rather pale with noticeable freckles on her skin and a cheeks that always seem to blush.

Samuel Monroe

Age: 25

Description: The oldest Monroe Brother. Deeply regrets leaving his siblings behind and has worked hard to give himself a name, so that one day he can provide for his younger siblings. Overprotective of Zara and misses her deeply.

Physical Description: 6'4 muscular build. Black hair that is always styled to perfection with bright blue eyes. He is cover in tattoos but the one that means the most is near his heart, all the brother share the same tattoo.

Theodore Monroe

Age: 24

Description: The second oldest Monroe brother. He along with Theo left their abusive father for a better life and deeply regrets his actions. He was always a little more emotional, a momma bear of sorts.  Overprotective of Zara and misses her. Wishes he could undo his wrongs.

Physical Description: 6'3 muscular build. Short dark brown hair with blue eyes. Has one tattoo dedicated to Zara. Also has a beauty mark right above his eye.

Ezra Monroe

Age: 21

Description: Twin to Flynn and older by 3 minutes. Ezra was never one to have many words. He likes to keep to himself only talking when need be. He regrets leaving behind his two youngest siblings and misses both of them. Overprotective of Zara

Physical Description: 6'3 muscular build. He has longer dark brown hair that is usually in a bun. He has Heterochromia meaning he has two different colored eyes. One of his eyes is blue and the other green. 

Flynn Monroe

Age: 21

Description: Younger twin to Ezra. Completely different  personality. Always seems to have a smile on his face, but there is darkness behind his smile. Loves to read. Misses his younger siblings, but has faith they will all be together again. Overprotective of Zara

Physical Description: 6'1 lean build, but has muscles. Black hair that is always neatly styled and also has Heterochromia like his twin. Freckles on his face like Zara.

Declan Monroe 

Age: 20

Description: Stayed the longest with Zara in their abusive household. Regrets the day he broke his promise to her and has a hard time forgiving his wrongdoings. Will tell you straight to your face that Zara is the number one in his heart as they always took care of each other.  Silent but knows how to pick you up type. Misses her during their two years apart and extremely overprotective. 

Physical description: 6'3 muscular build from the fighting he does with Ezra. Short black hair that is always messy with green eyes.
