The sun was shinning high above the sky, birds were chirping and the animals were running around. The forest was quite, little noise was made as it seemed peaceful. A rocky dirt path lead through the forest that trade carts or carriages would take to get through the forest from town to town. In the distance the sound of 2 horses hooves clop on the ground pulling a wagon filled with goods. A man holding the reins of the two light brown horses as he was enjoying the nice day ride. The man was transporting items from town to town for his business. He always took this path through the forests and rarely broke off his route. A stick breaks in the forest making the man seem a bit uneasy. Keeping his eyes on his horses but also glancing around the forest wondering what was out there. There wasn't much worry to him as he as nothing ever came out to attack him or his horses before. Even though the man was transporting items such as weapons, potions, herbs, food, and some material for armors and what not, he did not know how to use any weapons in case of emergency.
The sounds of sticks cracking began to grow louder and the man hit the reins down a bit harder to signal to the horses to start speeding up but that made the sound grow louder. In a swift motion out from behind the trees and bushes jumped out a group of 4 bandits. They were wearing pitch black cloaks with red masks on. Two men were wielding swords and the other two men were pointing their bows at the man.
The horses stopped in haste and didn't make much sound as they just waited for the mans commands. The man put his hands up and dropped the reins of the horses making them take off running. The mans body began to shake as his eyes darted from bandit to bandit until it landed on what he assumed was the leader walking closer to him.
"P...Please take whatever you want just let me go." The man says shakenly.
The bandit laughed and pointed his sword at the man, "Oh don't worry we will but that doesn't mean we can just let you go and tell everyone that these roads aren't safe anymore." The bandit said.
The bandit grabbed the mans arm and pulled him off the cart and onto the ground. The man fell down and made a grunt as he turned and laid on his back looking up at the man in fear. The bandit just laughs as he goes to swing his sword down on the helpless man but a soft noise echoed through the forest and hit the bandits hand making him drop his sword behind him. The bandits looked in shock and looked around for where that arrow had come from.
Another noise swished by and one of the bandits with a bow was shot directly in his chest, straight through his heart. The bandit falls down to the ground with a loud groan as his last noise. The others start to take aim and ready as the leader grabbed his sword again. The merchant moved and hid behind his cart from it all not sure what was going on.
The bandit fired his bow and shot an arrow where he thought the other one came from and didn't hear a noise right away. After a moment from behind the sound of a horse neighed out. The bandits turned their heads to see a beautiful horse in emerald green armor. His face was not that of a horses but that of a dragons. He had medium sized beautiful wings and a dark yellow colored saddle and on the saddle was a small bag. He was smokey gray with a dark gray main and tail. The bandits were confused as they were staring at the dragon horse wondering where its rider was.
The thoughts running through their minds was of how much money they could get for selling the horse even if its for meat or to sell the scales for armor. As they were a bit distracted, the bandit leader cried out for help from his men and the sound of two swords clashing together was heard. A man in emerald green armor with gold trim stood there with a dark green glass blade with a gold hilt, standing at about 6'2".
The man looked human and had normal features but was built. He had short chestnut hair and a clean face, anyone could tell he couldn't grow facial hair but it never bothered him. He had dark brown eyes and pale white skin with some scars on his eyebrow and jaw but nothing more. They defined his face more and made him look a bit scary but he was a gentle man at times.
