The sky was burning. The air was hot and ashen. Helena was running away from the strange soldiers killing everyone in sight. Her only thoughts were, How did I not see this coming? I should have had a vision of this! Why is this happening today, of all days! She had been teaching her few students on how to harness their auras when the warning bells began to ring, alerting everyone in the city of an invasion. Before she could react, Helena watched in despair as a large man tore through the wall of the chamber and proceed to slaughter her acolytes. All she could do was run away like a coward. Why can't I be strong like Leonidas?
Blood. It was everywhere, from the streets all the way to the sky. Leonidas could not believe that evil existed such as this, as the soldiers in white and gold massacred the citizens of Athens without mercy. Well, for that I shall not show them a shred of which they lack. Leonidas activated his ability, growing talons long as swords and an armor harder than diamonds covered his body. He proceeded to rip and tear through every enemy in his path, leaving a trail of gore in his wake. On the final warrior, Leonidas raised his left arm to deal the final blow, but a smear of blood threw him off balance and he fell on the ground. His enemy, letting out a war cry, stabbed Leonidas straight in the heart, only for his xiphos to shatter into tiny pieces. Leonidas took advantage of this opportunity and kicked the soldier in the chest. The poor man was sent flying and landed on one of the city's trebuchets just as it launched its payload. Leonidas sighed, thinking to himself as he stood up, If only I was as smart as Helena...
