"Is there a reason needed for him to be labeled as a monster?"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It felt like decades have passed since he gave Fushiguro a heart attack that probably caused a huge trauma for the said male.

Kazu hoped he could at least stay for a minute or two even if he had to be a ghost for the sake of apologizing... well, indirectly.

But which story could go as planned? The moment he opened his eyes, his pupils widened at what he thought hell looked like.

He was laying on a cloud-like futon in a traditional room with natural lighting from the sunlight that went through the sliding doors.

It was too peaceful and unrealistic for the underworld that Kazu refused to believe his sight.

"Did I perhaps.. survive? Or am I actually worthy of the heavens?"

"------------!"

A child's voice was then heard from the hallways, calling for the male. Although it was loud enough for the birds to hear, he could not decipher what the voice called him but it clearly was not his name.

Bam!

The door slammed quietly and our culprit was standing with a big proud smile. It was a boy that seemed to be around the age of 10, dressed in a white and red clothing.

This time despite being in a worrisome situation, Kazu could not hold back from commenting on the other's appearance, "Short."

The child's hands were so small and they moved to reach to Kazu's cheeks.

"You promised to play with Ryo today! Ryo was waiting outside for two minutes already!"

(Kazu in his heart: May I bring this kid to Gojo? Where's the bag?)

The older was gaping like a fish while staring at the child. He was so sure that he never met anyone named Ryo yet this child's tone was so playful as if he was not some stranger at all.

It's only two minutes... More importantly, who is this Ryo? Might as well ask the innocent little kid.

"Ryo?"

"Yes!"

"Ehhh?!" So it was his name... Now that I think of it, I seem to have lost several brain cells.

The impatient boy made a pouting face, signaling that he was mad at Kazu showing no interest to play with him.

"Don't pretend that you forget who I am! It won't ever work, you fool!"

If a person's face could look dumb yet surprised then that's exactly how the silver head looked like. The supposedly innocent soul showed no empathy for him as he started with another sentence.

"Well, the name you gave me is lame so you can change it!"

"I- I have a son?!"

(Kazu's Diagnosis: Abnormal heart rate)

But the child skillfully made a disgusted expression at that. "Oh, come on! I wouldn't want that..."

Ouch

Kazu could not think of anything else by then. He must have been dead and not in this nightmare, right?
