Escape From The Underworld

Chapter I - Sophia and Cassandra

It was morning, I get up, got dressed, and head out of my house as usual.

"Hey, Sophia! Hurry up!" That was cassandra, my closest friend ever since we were little. "Cass, what are you even up to?" She looked at me and held my hand as we went to the forest, where the two of us hang out.

"Oh Sophia, I found these!"

"Obols? Cass are you nu-" She delightfully puts her finger on my mouth.

"It is said that when you die, Charon, the ferryman of the dead will take you across the river styx."

"Yeah so..." I asked.

"So I decided to go to the local witch and brought back a potion to trick people that we're dead!"

"Cass, that is the most stupidest thing you could ever come up with."

"By tonight we will put these obols in our mouth and put on these robes to pretend that we're souls."

"Seriously?" *sighs* "Look Cass, we might be punished for doing this.

"Relax Sophia! Nothing will turn out wrong!"

"I'll give you that new scroll that I also bought, just in case..."

"Ok... you had me at that scroll."

Later at night...

"Alright Sophia. tonights the night we explore the underworld."

"Yes Cass, tonights the night."

She brings out the potion and pours it in two cups of wine.

"Here! to our wildest adventure yet!" as we both raised our cups.

The both of us drank together, put the obols in, and waited for the potion's effect to kick in...

10 minutes later, It finally did...

I heard the sound of a bell ringing.

Cass and I were unconscious, but we heard some dialogue between two people.

"Hmm, these two ladies seem to have enjoyed being together.

"Anyways, Charon you know what to do..."

We both heard a "Unggggghhhhhhh" noise as the two of us felt like floating...

And then we headed off into the underworld...
