A couple more months have passed since you 'rescued' Santana from the Foundation. You would like to think he's finally settled in. Since you sat down with him and explained that sometimes you were going to have to go away, the Pillar Man seemed to have calmed down significantly. Though, you couldn't help but notice that Santana spends no small amount of time staring outside your window. You tried to give him something to do by purchasing a new book every time you went out, but it hardly provided him with much simulation as he read all books within a few seconds of opening them.
You couldn't take him out during the day, yet there wasn't much that interested him during the night; he was in a terrible conundrum and you pitied him.

You sighed as you shifted through the mess of papers on your lap; your supervisor having randomly thrusted a slurry of assignments on you when you crossed paths that morning. It was well into the evening and you were still trying to make sense of your task.
He must know I spend most of my day just sitting at my desk. You thought to yourself, once again debating on whether your promotion really felt like a promotion. You stretched your neck, craning it to look at the docile man sitting in front of you; he had taken apart your TV. At first you tried to contest, but seeing as he didn't have much to do, you allowed him, trusting that he would be able to put it back. You stared at him as you absently sorted your papers. He truly confounded you, before coming to your house, he assuredly had never seen a TV before but here he was expertly putting it back as if it was his job. You scoffed to yourself before returning your attention to your task at hand.
"What?" Santana suddenly spoke up, he was suddenly staring at you, having stopped his movements.
You shook your head, "nothing-nothing." you responded waving him off. Santana continued staring at you, you tried to ignore him but felt his eyes on you.
Before you could tease him however, there was a quiet knock at your door, it sounded as though there was some hesitance in the knocking, but you heard it nonetheless. You sighed again, ignoring Santana as you got up and walked towards your front door. You unlocked your door and opened it ever so slightly, poking your head through the gap you made.

Your eyes locked on to a woman and a menacingly large man, standing behind her. You gulped before speaking. "Hello?" You said quietly.
The woman smiled at you, before answering. "Hello!" The woman gave you her name as she placed a hand on her chest before turning back to look at the man behind her, "and this is Joseph." She continued. Joseph only nodded at you but his eyes were burning holes into your forehead.
The woman continued, telling you she worked for the Speedwagon foundation's archaeology department. Your face softened as she showed you her work ID, and you opened your door more widely now.
You smiled, "oh nice to meet you, I've never seen you two around before." You continued the pleasantries but looked at the woman's companion longer this time. You felt as though you had seen him somewhere before but you couldn't place it; his bright purple hair being very uncommon. Putting to rest the thought, you instead simply complimented the man on his purple hair and was awarded with a slight smile in return.

The young woman cleared her throat, your attention, now returned to her. She told you that her and her partner had just been transferred to the archaeology sect of the supernatural department. You congratulated them on this and counted them lucky for not having to work the boring office job you were forced to. Stopping your laughter, you queried them on what they were doing at your house. The woman continued explaining to you that they were given keys to the headquarters to get themselves situated, when they stumbled upon some of your belongings. The woman, hastily handed you a pile of documents, letters and your ID card, you stared in disbelief. "My ID! How did I not realise I left it behind-" You momentarily reprimanded yourself for being so clumsy as to lose your ID before you looked back up at the two individuals in front of you. "How did you- how did you find these?" You asked them, now glaring.
The woman now hastily answered you. "We found them on your desk." But before you had a chance to question them further, the woman spoke quickly once more. "Look we know you're an observer for the Pillar Man Santana and we know you're not really allowed to speak on it, but we work for the archaeology sect so we know all about the Pillar Men- so where is he?" The woman said all this to you in one quick succession. You stepped back, now concerned. "I have no idea what you're talking about." You said, trying not to sound as worried as you were.
The woman now moved menacingly closer to you,"That's not true." She said quietly.
You continued feigning innocence, "I really don't know what you mean by 'where is he?' I really don't." You went to grab your door and closed it slightly. "Like you said, I'm his observer, but I'm not with him 24/7." You continued, hoping that her large friend wouldn't suddenly chime in.
The woman now moved back away from your door significantly. "We just want to talk to him." She said, her voice more gentle and less threatening now.
You sighed before answering, "Thank you for my things, but I don't know what you mean." And you shut the door in the woman and her companion's face.
