Tick Tick tick, the clock makes that annoying sound that eats away at my last strand of sanity. I think about lashing out and ripping it off the wall and smashing it into oblivion, but decide against it because that could get me into some trouble with my supervisor. Leo strides into the room from the wide-open door and doesn't look at me at first. Look at me, look at me, I plead because if he shows me that side of him that is my big brother, then will I know I haven't failed. And just as I'd expected, after sifting through the paperwork on the table he looks straight at me with the same pleading, but his brown this time, "Natalia, what have you gotten yourself into?" Leo asks this warily and as if he doesn't want an answer. "If the Mutant Embassy catches you stealing files on other mutants for Magneto, one more time, there will be a consequence. Look, I know you took Mom and Dad's death hard but, you need to honor them, not avenge them. You think you're doing right by their memory but you aren't. Ali, stop running away from the people that want to help." When he notices me looking down he stops and lifts up my chin with his index and middle fingers and continues again, " The humans didn't do this to them, they put themselves into danger, the humans just had to spring into action." I know Leo expected me to open up and ask for a job here, instead I recoil and ask, "Can you undo these?" Shaking the handcuffs that were put there because I bloodied a MA Security's nose trying to obtain freedom from their grasps. With a sigh, he unlocks the cuffs and backs up to gesture to the open door. Before leaving I utter a sarcastic "thanks."
