"What if i didn't?"

Not even ten feet out of the Embassy building, I hear the haste footsteps of Leo. "Ughh, I knew you had more to say." I comment and spin around. "I can't let you leave." He says a smidgen out of breath. "What do you mean? Are you going to arrest me Leo?" I say through gritted teeth. "I'm coming with you, Natalia." He replies, and then I notice the small messenger bag slung around his waist. "If you are coming with me there are a few things you have to learn first. Like: if I give you an order, you follow it. And we will not talk about feelings." I retort a little pissed. "Deal." Leo replies, determinedly.

After an hour or so of walking down the mountainside road, Leo slows down, but after I yell at him, he speeds up. Well first of all, my parents were killed because they had Stryker's controlling serum in them. Kidnapped by Stryker they were forced to hold up a science lab for him. The humans saw them as a threat since my mother was green and my father was half bionic. The humans shot at them as soon as they walked in, struck both dead. Since Leo wanted to come with me I guess I have to explain the plan. "Alright Leo listen up, we are going to Magneto's camp so I can get you enrolled in the system. Then you get a tent, and a training group, and after a while; an assignment." I state, a bit monotone. "Cool." Is Leo's only answer.

"Oh, hey! Guys, Drewan's back!" My fellow Magnetian yells. Yep, when you become a part of Magneto's clan you get the term "Magnetian." "Why are they calling you your middle name?" Leo inquires. "Because I didn't want them to end up calling me 'Nat'." I answer. The other Magnetian's exclaim ricocheted throughout the compound, "Drewan's back. Yay, I needed Drewn for something. She didn't get arrested?" After wading through a sea of intrigued initiates, Leo sees the building that looks like someone crushed a big piece of sheet metal. "Whoa, is that..." He didn't even need to finish his sentence, "Where Magneto's HQ is? Yup." I say.

"Drewan. Hello Darling." Magneto greets me as we enter his HQ. "Hi, Eric." I say glumly. "Why so down? Did you get the files on Orion Reed?" "No," his expression hardens, " the MA caught me, I triggered a hidden alarm. What if I didn't?" He closes the Manila folder he was pursuing, and ignored my question. "All will come in due time," he continues softer, " And who is this Ms. Kemper? A new initiate?" Leo brightens up a little. "Um, yeah. Magneto, meet my brother, Leo. Leo worked at the Mutant Embassy before, and might be able to shed some light on their compound." I say. "Very well then," Magneto says pleasantly smiling at Leo, "Glad to have such an experienced initiate, Mr. Kemper." They shake hands and Leo and I leave to find an empty tent.
