Shadow sat under an oak tree, watching the other Eeveelutions cautiously. Shadow didn't quite trust the others, particularly Violet, Coral, and Brownie.

In front of him, Leafblade and his beloved Pearl were playing catch.

"Leafy, can you catch it this time, please?" Pearl asked.

You'd better catch it. Thought Shadow. You do what Pearl says.

"I'll try," Leafblade sighed.

Shadow had watched Leafblade fail to catch the ball all morning. It was somewhat entertaining.

Pyro, who had also been watching along with Winter, had fallen asleep. He snored softly next to Shadow, twitching every now and then.

Shadow jutted a paw into Pyro's flank. "Wake up, stupid!" He growled at Pyro.

Pyro raised his head, barely aware of what was going on.

"Wha...? Shadow, is that you?" He asked, obviously half asleep.

"Yes it's me, you idiot. Get up!" Shadow snarled and hit Pyro.

Pyro sprung to his paws. "I'm up! I'm up! What's going on?!" He asked, alert.

Shadow grunted and layed back down on his side.

Pyro stared at him for a bit and then twitched his left ear and watched Leafblade and Pearl.

In front of them, Leafblade was on the ground, whimpering, the ball had hit her face too hard. Pearl was hovering over her, her blue eyes filled with concern and guilt.

"It's alright, Leafblade. You're fine. It was just a ball." She whispered to Leafblade. Then she hollered, "Medic!"

"Oh, God." Shadow muttered and padded away.

Later that day, Shadow and Winter were playing Minecraft.

"Shadow, stop killing me!" Winter exclaimed.

"It's not my fault you have good stuff!" Shadow retorted.

Winter's character respawned next to Shadow's character.

"Give my stuff back! I had Enchanted Apples!" Winter growled.

"Okay, Winter. Sure." Shadow smirked.

"Thanks," Winter thanked Shadow.

As Shadow started to drop the Enchanted Apples in Minecraft, he quickly picked them all back up before Winter could get to them.

"Psyche!" Shadow smirked.

"Hey!" Winter growled.
