Damie tosses out his ball to let Echo out.
Echo runs up and Tackles the tiny bird while it used Scratch to hit back.
It goes for another Scratch but Echo stops it by using Water Gun.
This causes the chicken to freak out and run around wildly.
Brenda:No! Torchic,calm down! I know you don't like water but you can handle this!
Torchic continues to run in circles to dry itself off,leaving it open to another Water Gun that knocks it out.
Brenda blushes.
Brenda:Wow. You're not too shabby,Damie. It was a good battle. Thanks! Here let me heal our Pokemon.
She does so and put her hands in her pockets.
Brenda:For a newbie trainer,you sure are good at battling. You just got that Mudkip from the looks of it and you both have a strong bond already,I can tell.
May:Yeah. You could befriend any Pokemon,Damie. No doubt.

Birch:So I hear you beat Brenda on your first try. Amazing! Brenda's been helping me with my research for a long time,so she has a pretty long history as a Trainer already. Mm-hmm! I think that settles it!
Damie tilts his head,confused.
Birch:Damie,I ordered this Pokedex for my research,but I think you should take it.
He hand him the Pokedex and Damie uses it on Echo.
Birch:That Pokedex is a high-tech tool that automatically makes a record of any Pokemon you meet or catch. My girl Brenda takes her's with her everywhere she goes. Whenever she catches a rare Pokemon and records it,why,she comes to seek me out whenever I am in the field and show me!
Damie giggles at that causing Brenda to blush.
