"Red!" Chuck dived into the compartment where his red headed friend already sat.
"Chuck, hey-" The taller boy protested as he was smooshed against the wall.
"We missed you so much!" Chuck exclaimed as his sister came in with Bomb.
"You should've seen Chuck's face when he saw you in the window." Silver said as she sat across from them, "He ran on here so fast that I thought his feet would catch fire."
"Good to see you guys." Red had finally managed to get Chuck off of him as he sat up, rubbing the back of his head, which had hit the wall when Chuck tackled him.
"Good to see you too." Bomb smiled as he sat down next to Silver, "His was your summer?"
"Boring." Red groaned, "The orphanage doesn't just do a lot in the way of fun."
"You should have stayed with us then! You know my parents wouldn't mind having you over!" Chuck huffed as he crossed his arms, giving Red a serious look.
"It's fine Chuck, I'm used to it."
"You should come over next summer, Red." Silver suggested, "That way I don't have to deal with Chuck, and Bomb doesn't get owls every time of the day."
"An owl flew into my room at two in the morning, woke me up because it flew into a wall and started screeching, and when I finally got the letter off of its leg, all it said was, 'Quidditch'." Bomb glared at Chuck, who sheepishly squirmed under his gaze.
"I forgot to write the rest of the letter. I was going to ask if you were trying out for the Quidditch team with me this year."
"I forgot about that-" Red admitted.
Silver rolled her eyes as her brother started one of his Quidditch rants, which was quickly interrupted by the lurch of the Hogwarts Express as it left the station. Red quickly took out his sketchbook and started working on a new drawing, while Chuck watched eagerly over his shoulder. Bomb and Silver started playing a game of Exploding Snaps, and would talk to Chuck and Red about what their second year would be like.
Little did they know that it would be much more eventful than their first year.
