Chapter 2~

Courtney and I were walking to first period, Science. "So how about Ryan? He's cute." Courtney said to me mentioning a bunch of guys as options of who I could date. " He's short though. He'd need a stool just to kiss me." I said disagreeing with her choice. She sighed knowing it was completely hopeless all the nice guys were taken. " You're too stubborn when it comes to guys. Just choose one." She said. " I can't just choose one I need someone hot and popular it would boost my popularity." I said putting on my act of a girl who is mean to everyone. I wish I could be myself, I thought to myself. Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted as a person bumped in to me knocking me over. I fell to the ground but had my hands holding me up.

"What the hell? Watch where you're going" I said slightly raising my voice. " I'm so sorry. Let me make it up to you." He said as I looked at him. He was extremely cute though. " sorry for shouting". I said then added "I'm Darcy. Are you new?" I asked curious assuming he was new because I've never seen him around and it's not really a big school. " Liam" he said shaking my hand. Ooh a gentleman that's a good start. I smiled and sadly the bell rang signaling we had to go to our class. "Well maybe I'll see you around." I said a bit sad that our conversation had ended. "Maybe" he said.

We walked away looking back at each other at the exact same time blushing and smiling. "You like him, don't you? You guys sure did hit it off." Courtney said. I smiled and said "He's nice and cute. Maybe..." I said a bit excited.

Time flew by quickly as my periods passed. Of course I was thinking about Liam. I kept reacting our conversation over and over again in my mind. He was so sweet and the best part is he was a gentlemen.

I walked to my usual spot for lunch seeing that all of mg friends were there waiting for my arrival. I smiled walking toward them. I sat down gazing around looking for Liam.

Then our eyes met as he smiled. I waved for him to come over seeing as he didn't know many people. "Hey" I said smiling at him. He smiled and said " Hi thanks for inviting me to sit down with you. "Anytime" I said then realizing that all of my friends were looking at me waiting to get introduced.

"Oh, Liam this is Courtney, Jessica, Sarah, and Tiffany. Everyone this is Liam. He's new so make sure he feels welcomed" I said then smiling looking at Liam we sat down eating our lunch.

" Not the type who likes to eat a lot?" Liam asked. "No I'm just not hungry." I lied knowing I shouldn't eat a lot to keep my figure and reputation.

All he said was "Oh". " So Liam what school are you from?" Courtney asked as I felt a hint of jealousy as they're conversation builded up and I blocked them out. I sit there just letting my mind roam to wherever.

The bell rang telling us to head to the next class. " Well it was nice meeting you all. Darcy I still owe you for making you fall on accident" he handed me a note and smiled and walked away.

I looked at the note smiling while reading as it said "Dear Darcy, sorry I pushed you over but it was lovely meeting you and your friends. Wished we chatted more during lunch. Maybe we can talk while I take you out for tomorrow? As an apology. Text me and let me know(: my number is (510) 786-2256 (A/N: the number is definitely not real) xx Love Liam.

I smiled and dialed his number into my contacts list during class knowing my teacher doesn't care. I raised my hand asking to use the bathroom. As I walked I saw Liam and smiled he asked awkwardly " Do you know where the men's bathroom is?" I laughed and said " Yeah I'm headed in that direction, follow me." I smiled walking with him

"So do you think you'll be able to come with me out to breakfast tomorrow morning?" He asked seeming a bit scared of my response. " For sure, I just need to ask my mom." I said smiling. " okay just let me know" he said. I smiled and said "I'll text you well here we are." Stopping I let him go. He looked back and smiled saying "Thanks". "Anytime" I mumbled.

As I walked a bit further because the bathrooms were in separate locations. I saw a black shadow walk by into the janitors closet. I wondered what if was but then just shrugged walking away.
