     "Mirta..."

     "Mirta..."

"Mirta!" A familiar voice shouted as she frantically shook the girl in an attempt to wake her up.

Mirta's eyes shot open as she looked around the dark cave with confusion. Where exactly were they? Are they even on the right path? And why the fuck is Bloom still frantically shaking her?

"Oh thank god you're awake! You had me worried sick, Mirta!" Bloom said as she stoped shaking her friend (oh thank god).

"W-Where are we?" Mirta asked them as Sky turned on a flashlight.

"It appears we're in some sort of cave..." The blonde man responded as he and the others looked around for a way out.

"Ugh...and in the dark too," Stella loudly groaned before coming up with an idea, "I could just transform and fill up the whole cave with light, then we wouldn't be stuck here in the dark with only Sky and Brandon's flashlight being the only source of light! Pretty smart idea, am I right?"

"Stella, if you were to transform into your Winx form now, how would you be able to defend yourself when the shadow monsters come back? How would we be able to blast through Darkar's doors?" Layla asked before quickly adding on, "Were any of you girls aware that there is a time limit as to how long you stayed transformed?"

"Wait, there's a time limit?" Stella exclaimed with a look of shock as Bloom and Mirta's eyes widened.

Layla nodded, "Yes there is a time limit as well as a limit as to how much magic you can use. If you manage to exceed those limits then you'll be left seriously exhausted and vulnerable...you could also get killed just by exerting yourself.."

     Bloom gasped, "Oh my.."

"Make sure to conserve your energy guys, we're going to need it soon," Layla said as she reverted her gaze back onto Stella, "Especially you, considering there's no sunlight in the cave."

"Uh oh..." Stella heavily sighed. Was now a bad time to mention that she couldn't go several hours without being in the sun? Judging by the looks on everyone's faces, it probably was.

Oh how she wishes this mission could be over with...

"Well..well..so the Winx have made it this far. I'm surprised they're still alive considering how far they've fallen," Darkar said before conjuring up more shadow monsters, "Lets see how long they'll last in the Downland..."

The group eventually made it to one of the doors with little to no difficulties (if you can exclude Stella complaining about the lack of sunlight for most of the time). Bloom and Mirta heavily debated on blasting the doors open with their magic, but Layla told them that the doors can absorb a great amount of magic at once and that by trying to destroy the doors would make them weaker in return.

Brandon sat down his bag and pulled out some sort of explosives, explaining to the group that it would take time to properly set these up in order to get by the doors. As Brandon began to work on setting them up, Stella was growing impatient about the lack of sunlight slowly draining her and how long it would take for Brandon to set up the explosives. Looking behind her and noticing some monsters hiding in the dark, Stella transformed into her Winx form and sent a huge blast of light at them right as Brandon was done setting the explosives.

The blast of light along with the explosive being set off shook the cave very roughly. Before everyone could react, the floor eventually caved in and sent the Winx (including a now weakened Stella) deep down into the abyss, separating the group effectively for what will soon be the longest hours of their lives....
