Chapter 2 Deliciously Perfect

»Giorgi's POV

§ Driving to school is about the 2nd best part of my day, the first is cheerleading practice.

§ "shwoop" I look over at my phone and my screen saver of Fall Out Boy I see that Patrick's face is covered by a text from Lydia. I know texting and driving is bad so I pulled over on the side of the road.

L> "Can u pick me up from my house? I woke up late."

G> "sure, I'm on my way."

L> "thanx. see ya soon, oh and don't forget the pompoms for tryouts."

G> "I didn't they r in the back seat."

§ I get back onto the road and continue driving, I take a left to pick up Lydia.

§ "Sow how is your new house? Tell me everything, are there any cute guys in the neighborhood?" Lydia asks as she sits in the passenger's seat.

"Not really just Danny."

"Oh, well that sucks."

"If you ever need a guy, you know that there are plenty of them lining up for you at Avis."

"I don't just want anyone I want someone I can really relate to, someone who I am equally different and similar."

"You will find that someone soon enough, I promise."

§ School was pretty much a blur today. I didn't really care. All I was looking forward to was tryouts.

§ Of course the captain and co-captain held the tryouts because we are more experienced than almost anyone at our school. I don't think we are better than everyone else, its just that not many people at Avis took gymnastics or any type of cheerleading earlier on in life.

§ Lydia and I sat down at a table outside in the football field. We had all of the athletic papers of girls and guys who were going to try out for the squad.

§ "Okay first we have Oliver" Lydia whispers to me as he walks in. "Okay Oliver tell us a little about yourself." I ask curiously.

"Well first off I'm gay. I'm a sophomore. I like poodles and Logan Lerman, I mean, yummy, right?"

§ Lydia smiles and nods, nudging my shoulder.

"I like this one. Good taste." she says.

"You can begin." Lydia projects her voice to Oliver.

§ Oliver turns on a boom box to a very good song and he starts to do a very well put together routine.

§ He does a few toe touches here and there and a few flips. He then makes his big finish by jumping up, doing 2 turns and landing in a split.

§ We applaud him and he stands up and bows. "Well well, it looks like we have a new member on our squad!!!" Lydia says very enthusiastically.

"Omg thank you soo much."

"We're just doing our job."

"Well you wont be disappointed."

"I didn't think so."

§ 1 down 14 more to go. Once we had all of our cheerleaders Lydia sent the home with a schedule of days we have practice and the events we will be performing in also how the times of when we start and end practice.

§ This year is going to be perfect.
