Haze and Archer aren't really close.
...Which is an overestimation. They aren't close at all. The only things they know they have in common are that they go to the same school, and they have one class together. The only words they exchange are a simple "Hi" in the hallways whenever they walk along side each other to the same class. Then there's always a rare occurrence of "Can I borrow your highlighter?" That one most likely comes from Archer, he's never prepared for class.
When people see the two at school they're made to be total opposites, and it's a mutual feeling for Haze and Archer as well. Nothing in common what so ever. Archer is more closed off, observant, quiet. Haze on the other hand is quite popular. Not super popular where everybody knows her but she has a friend group where they do their own thing. Haze is also more outgoing and speaks her mind. You get the idea, perceived as polar opposites, the last pair people would say when they think of "pairs that could potentially be friends"
One ridiculous rainy, summer night. Haze happened to bump into Archer on the way to steal a car, to run away from her town. Both realizing they had the same intentions the once polar opposite pair turned into something more and the two joined on their solo journey together and soon after face their consequences, and a police chase for murder.

𝒍𝒊𝒂 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒔 ?! — new book who's this? I havent made a book in a while and this is my first time making an ocxoc book. I'm really excited for this and I hope people read it even though it's uhm... not a fanfic. Not sure if I'm going to abandon this or not but let's be honest I most likely will abandon this after two chapters 😭
