I know you're eager to get started, so I'll make this short and simple!
First off, thank you for giving this story a chance! It's been a total passion project for me, and has pretty much taken precedence over all of my other projects and plans. The idea sort of just sprung out of nowhere and I found myself spiraling back into an obsession and fandom I honestly sort of forgot about...
I'd also like to mention that this entire book was finished before uploading (I'm horrible at updating, and I really didn't want this story to lose the interest of its audience because author-dearest was taking too long).

This book was started April 1st, 2022.
This book was completed September 8th, 2022.
Ok, skipping to the important part(s):
You'll notice that each chapter has a song. These are not required to listen to (this isn't a song fic). These songs were only added to enhance the mood, atmosphere, and theme. If you are able to listen, I highly recommend that you do! A lot of thought went into each choice, and if the song has lyrics, you may be able to pick out how each one fits within its chapter (excluding the few that are solely instrumental).
If you haven't seen/played the game, no worries! You should (should) be able to follow along well enough...there's lots of fun little Easter eggs for those of you that have seen/played the game, though!
