"Satoru! Wake up! We have a new student to deal with!" The said man groaned and stood up from his bed, opening the door, getting greeted by his two best friend. 

"Happy birthday!" Confetti flew everywhere, making Satoru stunned. He looked at the calendar and noticed that it's December 7, his birthday. "Did you forget about your birthday again?" Satoru nodded, making the other two sighs. 

"You need to pay more attention to your birthday! It's your birthday, for god's sake!" Shoko said angrily, which Satoru only shrugged at. 

"Is the new student true? Or is that an excuse for me to stand up?" 

"No, we do have a new student, I think they're going to be here in lunch, right Shoko?" Suguru asked and Shoko nodded. "I think their level is Grade 1." Satoru looked at Suguru by this piece of information. 

"Grade 1? Are they that strong?" The other two nodded, making him smile. "Hmm, I won't believe it until I see it."

"Well, it's your birthday, so let's celebrate!" Shoko suggested and started dragging Satoru to the nearest restaurant. "It will be your treat!" 

"Hey! It's my birthday, it should be your treat for me!" 

"Shut up! You're richer than us, so you pay for it!"

"Damn, that was some good food! Hehe, thank you, Satoru!" Shoko said as she smiles at Satoru making the tall man sigh. 

"I thought it's my birthday, why are you the one asking for favors?" The tall man asked, making Shoko shrugged, she was going to tell her reason when Suguru tapped their shoulders. 

"Hey, look over there. That building looks weird, isn't it?" They looked over the building and saw that the building is covered with menacing curse energy. "Should we check it out?" Suguru asked. 

"No! It's our day-off!" Shoko and Satoru said at the same time. "Plus, if it's actually serious, we would have the mission already." Shoko added. 

"We should just check. What if the curse got out and caused some trouble?" Suguru said, making the other two sighs. "Let's just check, if there's nothing wrong with it, then we'll leave." 

"If we get in trouble, I'll slap you in the face." 

"Yeah, yeah, I get it." 

The three friends started walking towards the building, getting ready to fight in case something happens. When they got close to the building, the menacing aura from earlier disappeared. This made them confused, so they started looking for the curse, wondering if it got out. 

Satoru went inside the building to observe and look for the curse. While looking, he felt a strong curse energy, smiling, knowing that it will be the curse. He walked towards it, low and behold, he saw a person not a curse. 

The person felt him immediately since they're ready to fight, but seeing he's just a man, they didn't bother. "Are you the one releasing the menacing curse energy?" Satoru asked, the person shook their head. 

"There was a curse here a couple of seconds ago. I killed it." Satoru was surprised, knowing that the curse they felt earlier is strong. How did this person kill them immediately? 

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard Suguru's shouts. He can tell that they're getting worried. "Satoru!" Suguru and Shoko bust in the scene and saw another person beside their friend. They took their stance, ready to fight, but Satoru stopped them. "They're not a curse, they killed it." 

"Huh? The curse that we felt earlier isn't weak, you must've killed it." Suguru said and Satoru disagreed. Suguru observed the other person carefully, and noticed their strong presence. "They actually killed it?" 

"Yeah, when we got here the curse is already gone, but the presence is still there, so it must've been this person." Satoru explained. They all look at the mysterious person and saw them wiping their sword, noticing the blood of the curse they just killed. 

"Wait, who even are you?" Shoko asked an important question. 

"I don't think we'll see each other again, so why would I bother to give my name?" He doesn't know why, but this rub Satoru in a wrong way. "Anyway, I should take my leave, I have a school that I need to go to." 

"What's up with them? Why are they so arrogant?" Satoru said, making the other two look at him. "What's with your faces?"

"Aren't you the same?" Shoko said, and this made Satoru chase her out of the building. Suguru just sighed and walked out of the building calmly.

The three of them went back to the school and were greeted by Principal Yaga, they already know that the new student is here. "What took you so long? I thought you'll just eat something!" 

"Sorry, we got carried away!" Satoru explained. "Well, is the new student here?" Yaga nodded and started walking, leading the three of them. 

"Here. This is the new student." 

The three of them immediately gasped when they saw the new student. "You're the one who killed the curse from earlier?!" Yaga looked at the three of them since they look so shocked. 

"You've met each other?" Yaga asked the person and they nodded. "Oh, so I don't need to introduce you now. Just tell them your name." The three students got ready for your name that they didn't get earlier. 

"Y/n L/n. That's my name." They smiled and started welcoming you, except for Satoru. He was just standing there looking at you. He looked at you up and down, observing your looks. 

Then suddenly, he started feeling a new feeling. The things that he doesn't like...

He thinks you're attractive. 

"Oi, Satoru. What are you doing? A fly is going to go in your mouth if you don't close it." Shoko said, making the tall man snap out of his trance. "Come on, let's celebrate for our new classmate." 

He started walking towards them and staying far away from you, so he could forget his feelings.
