My pregame headcanons !

Okay yes I know this is for ships BUT I have a sudden urge to do this—— thank you and hope you enjoy sjjdhdhdhdd

Shuichi Saihara

They/him , non-binary , Demi , bisexual (no pref)

- clingy, can be very intense and emotional

- big fat weeb (mostly obsessed with Danganronpa but also enjoys Omori, DDLC, Kakegurui, death note)

- big simp for Kokichi (yes I know I'm basic okay I like pregame Saiouma shut up)

- his hair is always messy and gets nosebleeds randomly 

- He gets distracted very easily and doesn't get enough sleep

- just a dorky awkward guy who needs a hug

- he literally just wants to be cool

- spends his time making up theories for the games and talking about what would happen if this happened or something else happened

- had a small crush on Kaede but then was like "yeah nah"

- was first to audition for v3

- gave Tsumugi a whole bunch of ideas and suggested for the game

- he owns a kyoko body pillow

- kins Junko, Toko, Celeste and Hajime

- besties with Kokichi, Kaede, Maki & Rantaro

- quite weak when it comes to protecting himself or Kokichi from bullies

- reads a lot of fanfic (mostly Celesgiri or Kyoko x reader stuff)

Kokichi Ouma 

He/they, demiboy & pan

- shy and introverted

- loves to listen to Shuichi just ranting about his interests

- has bruises and cuts all over his body (from his clumsiness & family ab*se)

- close friends mainly with Shuichi, Maki & Rantaro 

- scared of Kaede 

- he likes Danganronpa as well (not as much as Shuichi tho)

- the peak of his happiness is when he looks up when he's in bed to see those glow up stars on his roof 

- listens to Mitski 

- very clumsy

- really enjoys writing as a hobby

- kins Mikan, Celeste and Toko 

- wants to have more self confidence 

- got dragged into auditioning by Shuichi

- He goes to the library with Maki sometimes 

- likes Shuichi

Kaede Akamatsu 

- she/her, lesbian

- a bit of a pessimist 

- very involved in cancel culture

- most of the time she's on her phone scrolling through Tik tok 

- carries around a big ass bat with her constantly (to look cool??)

- thinks Danganronpa is for losers (but she's watched clips of the first game)

- kins Sayaka

- has a secret passion for singing

- has a very intimidating neutral face

- a big cat person

- childhood friends with Tsumugi

- didn't want to join Danganronpa but Tsumugi insisted her to

- mean to most people (mostly Kokichi sobs)

- close with Miu & Kaito

- girlfriends with Miu
