Every people has their own standard, but even how high it is, it will always fall deeper down the ocean.
"Happy Birthday, Shan!"
"Thank you."
Every person in our class greeted me, which made me overwhelmed.
Mama might forget my birthday again because of work. She is too busy to remember all the special days, even her birthday. And believe me, I understand it. How I wish I would get rich even faster to make her have her rest.
"Happy Birthday!" a guy greets me all of a sudden with a drawing on his hand saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
The doodle is so cute!!!
"For me?" and he nod as a sign of saying yes
"Wow! Ang cute naman! Thank you!"
He is my seatmate. And when I say seatmate, literally kaming dalawa lang talaga sa likod.
The class moved on until our teacher called my name as my turn to discuss mine.
"Shantel Ramirez!"
The report went smoothly, my classmates understood it all, and I even saw our teacher smile that made me breathe in satisfaction. But even though I'm confident that I would get a high score for my performance, I still asked my classmate if it was good.
Rina gives me a thumbs up, "Sobrang galing mo!
The class went on until our next subject started. And just like the last, there will be a performance, but this time, we will have a traditional dance but in low quality hahaha.
Even it is time for our next subject our Art teacher is late, as always.
So, the groups occupy the different corners of the classroom, even the outside, to practice their performance.
And since our group was satisfied with our practice yesterday, we just have our own business.
I just smiled with the scenario. Ang cute lang nila.
My eyes darted to the drawing that made me smile even wider. Honestly, I love arts, but I hate doing mine.
As a curiosity hits me, tinignan ko yung likod kung anong ginamit niyang materials dahil papel lamang mula sa drawing book ang gamit niya. And I saw the sign of a pentel pen for a black shade.
I continuously check the back and saw a little penmanship saying "CRUSH KITA"
It made me surprised that made me look to my side only to see the shocking face of Rina na nakikitingin din pala.
I said to her but nothing's change on her reaction.
