"Morrigan." Corvus frowned when the two year old forcefully took Jack's pacifier from his mouth and popped it in hers, making the young boy cry.

"What did I tell you about taking other people's things without their permission?"

The child merely stared at him blankly and sucked the pacifier silently before patting Jack on the head, as a sign of comfort. Jack continued to cry. (Poor Jack lol.)

Ivy laughed softly, as she knelt infront of her stepdaughter.

"You can't take Jack's pacifier, darling. It's his. Besides, you have your own, love." She said, trying to coax Morrigan to give it back to it's rightful owner, but the toddler just shook her head.

Wanting it back, Jack tried to take his pacifier from Morrigan, but she avoided it by turning her back on him. Angry, he gripped a fistful of her coal black locks and pulled hard, making the young Crow tumble sideways.

Morrigan bursted into tears.

"Oh dear," Ezra came in with a amused smile on his face. He laughed softly - not in an unkind way. He took Morrigan first and gently coaxed her to sleep.

It was still a wonder to everyone how he was so good with kids - especially Morrigan as she was a hard kid to look after.

"Ezzy." Jack cried, raising his arm up to him and he slowly let Morrigan down on the soft baby mattress.

"Poor pet," he chucked as he took him next and gently took the pacifier from Morrigan's open mouth and placing it in Jack's. Corvus and Ivy let out a sigh when the atmosphere in the room was quite again.

"If their not dating when their older I'll be very surprised." Ezra's boyfriend (A.K.A Jupiter,) stated as he walked into the room.

He grinned when he saw the sleeping Morrigan on the baby mattress and the sleeping Jack, in Ezra's arms.

"Morrigan is never like this with the other, she is usually minding her own business and staying out of people's way. She kind of like the gothic, edgy quite kid. It's what baffles us, when she behaves like this with Jack."

Ivy nodded in agreement with her husband.

"Jack's the opposite though," Jupiter said with smirk. "With everyone else, he's all bubbly and loud but when he's around Morrigan, he would be a little quiter. Not in a bad way, it's just that he seems a little..."

"Shy." Ezra supplied for him.

"Mhm. Exactly that."

Ezra placed the sleeping Jack next to his friend and as if by magic, Morrigan turned around to hold his shirt tightly in her tiny little fist, snoring softly.

"Mowgrigwan," the six year old Jack looked at his best friend with a small displeased frown as the black hair was talking animatedly to one of her friends. "Wet's gwet two swandbwokes and make swandcastles?" He asked with a hopefully smile on his face; but was immediately shut off with a wave of the young crow's hand. "Maybe later, I'm twalking to Hoetan abwout my howiday."

Why is she ignoring me? Why is she hanging out with Hawthrone so much? Does she...?

Does she not want to be my friend anymore?

Dejected, Jack walked off to the sandpit, tears streaming down his face.

Ivy, who saw the whole drama, lightly tapped Morrigan on the back to gain her attention.

"Yes Mommy?" She asked, looking up at the woman, with her black eyes.

She smiled kindly and pointed at Jack, who was crying in the sand pit.

"Oh! Wait, why is Jwack crywing?" Morrigan asked immediately, jumping up in alarm. " I think you might have hurt his feeling sweetheart. When you told him you don't want to play. He hasn't seen you for two weeks poppet. Don't you think he misses you?" Ivy asked, trying to say this as kindly as she could.

"No!" Morrigan said, fear clearly portrayed in her eyes. "I-I didn't m-mean to!"

She smiled softly and nuged her to Jack's direction. "Just apologise my sweet, tell him you're sorry, for making him play all by himself. Why don't you go over there and play with him? You can bring Hawthrone aswell."

Morrigan looked over to Hawthrone.

"You two pway, I'll pway with Cawdwence." He grinned and went over to Cadence, who was on the swing.

Morrigan ran towards her crying friend, tears swelling in of her eyes, threatening to spill. She hugged him tightly.

"I'm sowwy! I bwad fwiend! Pwease dwon't cry! I wuve you!"

Jack,bless that child, stopped crying the moment Morrigan came over to him. He hugged her back tighter. "I'm not mad at you Mowgrigwan," he sniffed "jwust swad, I thwought you dwidn't want to be my friend. I wuv you two."

Morrigan straighten her back in shock.

"No! Jwack my friend! Jwack my bwest friend! Morrigan wuv Jwack."

"Really?"

"Really!"

Just then Jupiter stroded in, closely followed by Ezra. Awww, Ez look at that! Why can't we be more like that?

"Um- no."

"No? Really-"

"Mhm. No."
