You shreiked loudly, trying hard to grab Beomgyu's arms and push them away, but he was too swift. His fingers dug into your waist as he tickled you mercilessly, cackling at the sight of you looking such a mess beneath him.
"G-gyu, get off!" you yelled, gasping for air, but he just ignored you and carried on tormenting you. You habitually moved one arm to cover your mouth - something you often did whilst laughing - but Beomgyu took advantage of this. He knew you were most ticklish under your armpits so he pinned your arm above your head with his right hand and tickled you with his left. You screeched and squirmed underneath him, aimlessly kicking your legs to try and push him away, but he managed to dodge your feet each time.
"I-I'm begging! Stop!"
He decided that he'd been torturing you for long enough, so he respected your pleas, falling on his back next to you ; still giggling at the sight of you as you laid defeated, flushed and exasperated.
"I hate you, stop laughing at me!" you said, faking annoyance, not being able to help the grin that brightly spread across your face.
"How could I ever stop laughing at you? You're a walking joke." he teased, wearing a silly grin to match yours. You rolled your eyes, turning your head away from him, trying to catch your breath. Reaching his arm out to tiredly pat you on the shoulder, Beomgyu tiredly groaned.
"I missed this," he said. You turned your head to look at him again, lazily placing your hand over his.
"Me too."
Suddenly, an idea popped into your head.
"You can beat me in a tickle fight," you started, before rapidly moving to sit up on your knees, grabbing a random throw pillow in the process. "but you could never beat me in a pillow fight!"
Before he could retaliate, he was met with the thud of a pillow in his face.

Summer weekends used to feel all too familiar to you. For the past four years they had practically all been the same ; full of late sunsets, orange mini calippos and the sound of your best friend's laughter. However, this year was kind of different to the last three, as it was the first summer since you and Beomgyu started college. You had both come home, and your parents were away for the week, so you and Beomgyu had the whole week to crash at their house together - the longest you'd spent together in nearly a whole year. Sure, you had been on day trips and had travelled to have sleepovers at eachothers dorms, but nothing like this. And it was long overdue.
Your high school days were rough, but Beomgyu made them more than bearable. You met when you were fourteen, and your connection was always very intense from the start. You met when Beomgyu sat down next to you after he had transferred maths classes ; the only seat that was available was next to you, in the back corner. He sparked up a conversation about the little UFO that you were drawing in the corner of your notebook, and you immediately noticed his friendly aura. It was his warm, bright smile and gentle voice that drew you in, and his loud, chaotic humour that sealed the deal. You had never met someone as outgoing and charming as Beomgyu that accomodated your shyness and cared enough to stick around til you were comfortable enough to be yourself. You weren't sure what you would've done if you never met him, and you didn't like to think about it.
Time after school was mostly either spent at the local arcade or in one of your bedrooms, playfighting and jamming out to music rather than doing your homework. There were a lot of nights where you would sneak out to meet him at your local park. Drinking cans of red bull and sharing jellybeans as you sat on a swingset, holding hands and talking about the future. You often made plans together, saying that one night when you snuck out that you'd just run away. You didn't, of course. You also planned to go to the same college, which didn't happen either, and buy a house together with 3 cats, which also probably wasn't going to happen. It was so funny how wrong you got it. But it was okay. Because he would always still be your Gyu.
