I grabbed the book from off of the table that I had book marked and started reading a few days ago before sitting on the couch.

Jay sat next to me as he leaned his head on my shoulder, "You look pretty in your dress", he tells me and I blushed.

"T-Thank you, you look nice too", I told him trying to focus on my book and not the fact that his hand is placed on the side of my thigh.

I was sitting with my legs crossed a bit sideways, his right arm reached over me and his hand was on my thigh.

"You smell good too", he tells me as he pushes his nose closer to my neck, I looked down at him to see him looking up at me, and my eyes shot right back to the words in my book as I blushed.

My heart was pounding again, I really really hope he didn't hear it but he probably did since he is a vampire.

He dragged his hand from my thigh, slowly makings its way to my waist then my shoulder, I felt myself shiver as he did that.

I didn't know what he was doing but it was making my heart race a more then it should have, his pointer finger traced my collar bones making me shiver once again.

I tried ignoring anything he did but I couldn't, this felt different from when my friends would touch or cuddle with me but it wasn't a bad type of different.

Did I-?, did I have a crush on him!?, no that's not possible, but it is though!?

He moved closer to me, so close I could feel his body heat, my heart still hasn't slowed down either.

"You know you have very pretty skin", Jay tells me in a whisper like tone I only shook my head not trusting my own voice at the moment.

I noticed his eyes started glowing when I glanced at him again, he wasn't using his powers so why were they glowing?

"Yours eyes, why are they glowing", I asked him, his teeth were sharper also.

"No reason", he said but I know that wasn't true, "Sureee", I said as I looked at him and he looked at me.

Why was he looking at me like that?, I've never really seen that look on his face before, while I stared at his trying to read his facial expression, he grabbed my waist and sat me on his lap facing him.

I let out a small squeal at the suddenly movement before blushing, to his it I covered half of my face with the book.

"Why are you hiding your face", he said grabbing the book from my hand, so I covered my face with both of my hands and I heard him chuckle.

I have never sat in his lap like this before so I was really flustered by it, I thought couples only did this!?

I felt him gently grab my hands pulling them away from my face, "Why are you so shy", he asked with a small smile on his face making me blush harder.

I looked away from him not wanting to make eye contact with him, he wrapped his arms around my waist again before setting his head once again in my shoulder.

"I'm sorry if she made you uncomfortable", he mumbled into my neck as he continued to hug me, he's so cute.

"It's not your fault Jay", I told him him as I started patting his head again like he does to me and he let out a relaxed sigh.
