Dex and mydoria walked through the park gates and saw Bakugou and his friends beating up a kid. Why is he beating him up? Isn't he like..5? How's he already this powerful..? Dex asked in his mind.
Before Dex had another second to think, Izuku had stepped in front of the kid now on the floor. "Why are you being so mean, kachann! You're making him cry!'' He got into a fighting stance, shaking. "I-if you don't quit i-i'll stop you myself!" He's shaking.. I don't like where this is going. I need to step in.
"Whatever you do, you're not strong enough to beat me..Deku!" Izuku gasped. Dex bolted and shoved izuku out of the way and blocked bakugou's punch, his fur getting burnt off a bit.
"Ba ..Ku...Gou.." Dex growled and glared rather coldly. He grabbed his arm and held a tight grip. "I don't like this new attitude of yours." Dex tilted his head and gave bakugou a menacing smile and let go. "Next time I won't hesitate to hurt you.."
That's when Bakugou noticed that he burned the area where Dex was still bleeding from the hole in his elbow and backed away.
The bakugou trio left and izuku was on the floor looking like he was contemplating "Mydoria.. Are you okay? You didn't get hurt did you? And did I push too hard? I'm so sorry!" Dex was crying anime tears and worried over his poor friend that he thought he hurt.
"I'm fine Dex..just a bit scraped.. Thank you for stepping in.." Izuku sat up and looked down with a small frown. Dex put his hand on the other's shoulder and hugged him. "Hey listen to me for a sec kay?" Izuku nodded.
"No matter what, don't give up on your dreams. You never know when one of them may come true. You'll get a quirk soon, I know it. And if not now then later. You might just be a late bloomer." Dex softly smiled and stood up. Izuku looked at him and sighed. "Thank you."
Both of them smiled at each other until Dex said something that made Izuku cry.
"You can be a hero kid. I believe in you. Don't forget that"
