Sam stared down at his brother in dismay. It was, after all, his fault that his brother was in this state to begin with. He knew he shouldn’t have left him alone, or had given him the location to the warehouse. And he shouldn’t have said the things he said. But it was too late for what if’s. Dean had gone alone and gotten himself hurt in the process.
They were at their strongest when together. Everyone knows that. Every angel. every hunter, every demon, and every monster. And they were also each other’s weakness.
