Chapter 2: Alpha

Izabel Winters POV

A few hours after crossing The border line of my old pack. I stopped near a river. It was already really dark.

'It was a good decision to leave that stupid pack Izzy. Why did you leave a letter for your brother though?' Athena asked me.

'I left a letter because he is the only family I have Athena.' I explained.

Suddenly I heard a growl near the bushes.

'Run!' Athena screamed. I ran as fast as I can in the opposite direction of the growl. I could hear the wolves behind me.

'WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS WAS A CLAIMED TERRITORY?!' I screamed at Athena in our link.

'JUST RUN!'she screamed back.

'WELL THANK YOU FOR YOU GREAT ADVICE' I said sarcastically but still I followed her advice and ran faster. I looked behind me and noticed they stopped. They all had this look of pity. Whaaaa?

'IZZY! STOP!'she screamed. I did as told and inspected my surroundings. I had this feeling that someone was staring at me.

'A-Athena?' This is getting creepy. A few minutes later Athena still hasn't replied yet. I laid down feeling exhausted. It won't won't hurt to sleep for a few minutes, right? I slowly closed my eyes for a short nap.

'Izzy! wake up!' Athena said.
'5 more minutes ,Thena.' I whined. 'If I could I would marry this bed.' I declared. wait,BED?

I quickly sat up and looked around. Wow! this room is amazing. I notice a figure on the floor near the bed. I moved closer to the edge. I leaned forward. Half of my body on the bed and the other half leaning forward. oh wow! he is HOT! Look at those cheek bones! He was tall about 6'4.
He is a bit thin but he still has some muscle. I kept staring at him. Assessing his handsomeness.. wait no.. hotness. Yup, that's the right word.

"GOOD MORNING!" Someone suddenly screamed. Due to my shock I fell off the bed and on to the hot guy I was just staring at.

I slowly lifted my head with my eyes shut tightly praying that he is still sleeping. My ear slightly brushed his. I could feel the sparks traveling my whole body causing me to shiver.
I slowly opened my eyes hoping he isn't awake. Once I fully opened my eyes I was m greeted by beautiful blue eyes or is it green?

"Well hello to you too." He teased. HE HAS A BRITISH ACCENT. OH MY GOSH!!

"H-hey?" Great! of course I stuttered in front of a gorgeous guy.

"Don't worry. I think it's cute that you stuttered." he whispered in my ear.
Did he read my mind? I think he did.

'It's called a mate link you idiot. HE IS OUR MATE!' Athena told me. Oh........ I'm an idiot.

I could hear my mate chuckling at me.

"Shut up." I whispered feeling my chicks heat up.
He slowly lifted his hand caressing my hot cheeks.

"You're adorable when you blush." He smiled softly.

"Uhm 15 year old girl here." The girl that scared me! I tried standing but my mate had a tight grip on my waist.

"Carla, how many times do I have to tell you to knock." My mate asked annoyed by the girl.

"Sorry, I just..... really wanted to see your mate." She smiled apologetically. She slowly closed the door leaving us.

"Hmm.. i guess it's just you and me now." He whispered with his delectable accent."I'm Xavier Knight by the way."
