I woke up to a cold sweat I jolted up in my bed when I saw kehlani in the the corner of my room next to the door. "Lani what are you doing?" I asked, she turned around with blood all over her shirt, my eyes widened at the sight "what did do kehlani" I said that's when she pointed a knife at me and two spine curtling words "you're next" she said with a smile as she started running towards me. I tried to protect myself but as soon as the knife plunged into my chest.
I shot up in the bed gasping for air and wiping my head with shaking hands. I looked to the left to see kehlani sound asleep. I decided to get up and go get some water to calm myself down.
I go to the kitchen went into the cabinet and got a glass cup and went to the sink and started the water I put the cup under the water, I had heard water hitting against the window I had saw a flash of light and I took the cup from under the water I went to take a sip and as soon as I did the thunder struck I had a flash back to the dream when the knife collided with my chest and I dropped the glass and I realized what I did "shit" I whispered as water and glass went everywhere on the floor. I hurried and turned on the light and picked up every big piece, I stood up and jumped over the pile of glass and landed on a small piece of glass like jumping over a pile of glass was a good idea from the jump.
"Fuck!" I yelped limping my way to the trash can I hurried and got the broom and dustpan and swept the glass and threw it in trash.
I went to the table and sat in a chair and looked at my foot and blood was dripping from my sock "oh my god." I said as I inspected my foot I guess that glass was bigger than I thought it was.
I carefully took off my sock and I took out the glass scrunching my face, I got up and threw it away. " What are do- oh my god are you okay?" kehlani said. I turned around "yeah I uh I'm okay just dropped a cup and I stepped on some of the glass." I said looking at the blood that trailed along the floor, she walked over to me. She picked me up and walked me to the counter of the island and sat me down. She goes to the sink and grabbed a paper towel and cleaned up the water then grabbed another paper towel wet it and came back to me, she grabs my foot and wiped the blood off my foot.
"How did drop the cup." she said trying to get rid of the silence "the thunder scared me." I said thinking about how it was raining "what thunder it wasn't raining tonight?" She said "yes it was, it was literally raining." I said getting off the island and going to the window, I looked out the window and not a single droplet of water was on the window "what the actual fuck" I said confused and freaking out "are you feeling alright" kehlani said as I passed her, she followed after me to the room. We got to the room and I sat on the bed I grabbed my phone

Damn I was in there for that long
Kehlani sat next she was staring at me for a while then kissed me on the cheek. I looked at her and I gave her a small smile and let out a long sigh "what's wrong" kehlani asked "I had this weird ass dream where I woke up and you next to the door and I asked you what you were doing and you just turned around with a knife and pointed it at me and said "you're next" and came running towards me and stabbed me."
"Are you sure you're feeling alright?" Kehlani asked concerningly "I don't know" I said trying to keep my thoughts straight "hey how about we go back to sleep hm?" Kehlani suggested I shook my head in agreement. She went to the other side of the bed and got under the cover, I turned off the light and laid next to her. She pulled me closer to her and held me tight. "You've made me a better person since the day I met you I wouldn't be able to live with myself If i had hurt you that day." Kehlani whispered. I smiled and squeezed her tighter, I felt my body warm up from words.
I didn't know how fast I could change a person within a three day span but hey i guess anything is possible.
I still didn't get explaination about that rain though🤨
