(f/n's) POV:

"Fire Magic: Phoenix's roar!" You screamed as a dragon-like has emerged and attacked the Lady in Black, the Lady seemingly giggled while she dodged it with ease. You grunted while you held your wand tightly in your hand.

'Where are you, Lemi?' You gritted your teeth while the Lady in Black laughed, "So pathetic, and you're supposedly the 'Most Powerful Phoenix User" She laughed while blushing, "I can't believe the Phoenix picked you and not me!" Her mood drastically changed as chains rose from the ground.

You scoffed, "Fire Magic: Counter!" A shield formed around you while the chains tried to attack you, but failed as the chains wrapped around the Lady in Black. You grinned as your enemy was fuming with anger, "You B*tch! How dare you use your magic on me!" The chains wrapped around her broke as you gasped.

The Lady in Black was muttering incoherent words as electric-like magic was forming around her, "This will be your demise Phoenix User!" She shouted as her magic power grew more powerful, you were panicking. 'Sh*t where are you Lemi? If you don't come here now I'm gonna die.'

As if on cue, the Lady in Black released her magic on you while she screamed, "Disappear! Disappear! Disappear!" A gold armor wrapped around you while someone grabbed you on the waist, "Lemi! Where the heck were you? I could've died you know!" Tears were forming around your eyes as Lemi chuckled.

The Lady in Black's pupils were dilated, "Sh*t, she got consumed in the darkness, entirely." Lemi said as he frowned, "(f/n), do you still have magical powers enough for your Phoenix?" You nodded, while Lemi acknowledged your answer.

"Increase it, tenfold." Your eyes widened, "What? Lemi! You can't, you'll die!" Lemi smiled as he glanced at you, "Do you believe in the afterlife, (f/n)?" Your lips quivered as you tried hard not to cry, "Yes."

"Great, then let's finish this." Lemi looked at the enemy in front of you as she was consumed in darkness, "Die!" She screamed as a Dark Phoenix emerged from her, you let out a long breath as you braced for the impact.

"Ready (f/n)?"

"Ready."

"Union Magic: Phoenix's Roar, Tenfold!"
"Union Magic: Light Magic, Tenfold!"

A bright Phoenix emerged as it roared, the two Phoenix clashed as a gust of wind appeared while your wings wrapped around you and Lemi. Suddenly, a spear got past your Phoenix and stabbed you in the stomach. You choked blood while your wings lost balance as you fell, "(f/n)!" Lemi screamed as you tried to maintain your consciousness.

You fell into a void while darkness consumes you, 'I'm sorry, Lemi.'
