"Hexed Child" DBD x Child Reader

Chapter Four

As the black mist faded {Reader} found himself in a forest.

Was he lost? No, Ji-Ji said this would take him to camp.

Suddenly the child was picked up off of the ground.

"Heh?"

Looking up, {Reader} found himself looking at David.

"Heya kid.. uhm... sorry for not noticing you were down in the trial I just-"

"Huh? I wasn't.. Wha?-"

"Oi! David has the new guy?! Well where are they?!" A loud voice shouted out from one side of the trees.

"Shut up Ace! Not everybody needs to know what's going on over here!" A feminine voice echoed.

David proceeded to set {Reader} down on the ground and told him to stay behind him as they walked out of the tree line.

"David? Where's the new guy??" A red haired woman with a witch hat questioned.

{Reader} took notice to Feng and Bill standing on either side of him and David.

Did they do something wrong? Did he do something wrong? What's going on?

{Reader} tried to piece together what was going on when suddenly David started pushing him out from his place behind David.

"Well guys, this is the new survivor... {Reader}" David announced.

{Reader}, now fully in front of David, looked around him.

There were many, many adults there, and they seemed shocked to see him. Though, {Reader} wasn't really sure as to why, surely they've seen a kid before right?

I mean, who hasn't?

So, {Reader}, being the weird kid he was, he walked to the closest person infront of him, a lady in a suit with her hair up, and just asked "why do you guys look like you've never seen a child before??"

The girl raised her brow as if to question him before she looked around and laughed a bit.

She explained how this was the first time they've seen a child here, in the Entity's realm.

Plus the fact that you were apparently good at looping and strong enough to unhook a fully grown adult off of a hook at your age and size, it was unheard of.

Even to you! You don't remember looping anyone or being strong! So what the heck are these guys on about?

Afterwards, you were brought around to meet several people.

Everyone had their own characteristics and different traits. It was really cool to meet new people!

Well, meeting the people here was cool.

Back before meeting your fog friend, you didn't like meeting new people.

Everyone was typically the same.

Just looking for someone or something to bring joy into their life only to not care for it whatsoever.

The people here on the other hand? They were really nice! Even gave you tips for when you go against certain killers! Not that you knew the killers names or what they looked like... but you knew some tricks to use on them now!

"{Reader}, why don't you tell us what it was like for you back in the real world? I'm sure you've got an interesting story." The man you had known as Adam asked.

One of the blond ladies, Cheryl, join into the conversation "yeah! I'm pretty interested in your backstory as well kid."

"You don't have to tell us if you don't want to tho!" Laurie, a woman with messy hair said panicked. "We all have had someone try to kill us, this is a kid guys! If he's here than he's probably the same! His little mind probably wouldn't handle being able to go through that again, so he can tell us if he wants to."
