Niall's POV
I have to find out what's going on. Not just with me, but with Ava too. There is only one person who I could think of who might be able to help. I told Ava I was going over to Dylan's to have a guys day and Savannah is over at our house which is good because Im honestly scared to leave Ava alone.
I walked up to the door and knocked. To no surprise at all, Zoey answered the door.
"Hey, Niall. What are you doing here?"
"Hi, Zoey. I was just wondering if Liam was here and if I could talk to him, maybe?" I asked kindly.
She looked at me suspiciously.
"Why?"
"Something weird has been going on and it feels sort of magic-y. Im hoping he could help."
I had to admit.
She stepped to the side and let me in.
"Um, Liam! Can you come out here?" She called.
Liam walked into the room and looked confused when he saw me. "What's going on?" He asked.
"Look, I kind of have a vampire or magic or whatever problem and I was hoping ya can help me."
"Sure, yeah. I would be happy to help." He said with a smile.
"What the hell is going on Niall? Why exactly do you need Liam's help?"
Zoey questioned as we all sat down on the couch.
"So the thing is, something has been happening to Ava and I. I don't know how or why or if it's even a magic thing but we need help." I told them.
They both looked really confused.
"What exactly is happening?" Liam asked kindly.
I thought for a second.
"I can only speak for myself when I say, lately I have been hearing voices. They're not just any voices, they're voices of people I've killed."
He looked more interested than before.
"If you're only speaking for yourself, then what's going on with Ava?" Zoey asked entering the conversation.
I turned to her and said "That's the thing, I have no idea. I just know that lately she has been acting nervous, almost scared and she can almost never sleep a wink. Last night she woke up in the middle of the night and she was terrified. Im scared something worse is gonna happen if we don't solve this now."
Liam looked confused for a minute until he looked up at me "I may not be positive, but this sounds like some sort of witchcraft. So I may be some help but if this is the work of a witch, they are way more advanced than me." Liam admitted.
I nodded.
"So, this has been happening to Ava for how long?" Zoey asked a little upset.
"Since the night of our honeymoon. Ever since then, she has acted different and I've felt weird since that night too." "Even if this is a spell, I just dont understand why it's affecting her more then you. Is there a chance she was acting different before that. Maybe the spell was put on her before that." Liam wondered.
Then an idea hit me. I thought of something me and Ava have never put much thought into.
"Could it have anything with me being a different type of vampire?" I asked nervously.
"Why would you ask that?" He shot a look at me.
"Because, a while back ago before I turned, there was a guy who tried to kill Ava. He wanted to turn me because I'm supposed to be this special kind of vampire, he said it runs in my family."
Referring back to a long time ago when I witnessed Mason almost kill Ava but then I drove a stake through his heart.
Liam looked at me like I was mental.
"You? Wow. You're the demonic vampire? This is insane." Liam rambled on.
"What does that mean?" Zoey asked.
"It means he is basically indestructible. A normal vampire alone is pretty indestructible but you, Niall, you're something else." Liam said with a grin.
I was still confused why me of all people, had to be this demonic vampire.
"What makes me so different? Why aren't other vampires like this?"
Liam stood up and walked back and forth with a grin still on his face.
"I'm gonna go old school on this and say legend has it, your ancestors were extremely close with witches. This also has to partially do with the first vampire. Witches are the reason vampires were created, because they wanted there friends to have protection, I guess."
Liam paused and rose an eyebrow to ask if I was catching on.
I nodded for him to continue.
"So when the first successful vampire was created, the witches turned the rest of the people. Then obviously, mortals weren't exactly happy with undead, living for all eternity, bloodsuckers walking around, so they found a loophole, and that's where the stakes come in."
Zoey was as curious as I was for this story.
"What are vampires not affected by the sun as well? I never really got to ask these sorts of questions." She directed that towards me.
"Well, the sun doesn't burn but we are extremely light sensitive. It's a bitch."
I answered truthfully.
"Now that we have established Niall doesn't like the sun, back to the story. The first vampire they created was still alive, so the witches wanted to do all they could to keep him safe. So they did a spell and that spell made him absolutely indestructible, not even a stake can completely kill him and before they could do the spell on the remaining vampires, they were burned at the stake."
He finished.
"So does that mean he could still be alive?" I asked.
"It's possible. There is a loophole for everything but I highly doubt he is dead." Liam said in a sure voice.
"What makes you say that?" Zoey asked.
"Because if anything is going to kill him, then it's gonna have to be the complete death of the witches bloodline, which means anyone related to the witch would have to be dead. Once her bloodline dies, so does he."
"How do you know they're not all dead? You even said they were burned at the stake." Zoey replied.
"Because, they had children that the villagers never found and you just so happen to be sitting in front of a descendent of the witch who created the first vampire." He said smiling.
I was shocked. "Wow, so you're saying I'm related to the first vampire and you're related to the witch who created him?" I asked hesitantly.
He nodded "That's exactly what I'm saying! I knew I had a good feeling about you!" He said extremely happy.
"But I still don't get one thing. How am I a descendent of the first vampire if vampires can't have kids?" I asked.
"I don't know maybe he had kids before he turned, I think the spell would've past on to his kids or something."
I nodded and looked at the time.
"Oh guys, I should probably get going. I don't wanna leave Ava alone for too long."
