"You're funny, Candace. You're really funny." I said as she jokingly made fun of me.
I slammed my locker shut and walked out of the school building. I saw my dad waiting in his tiny little blue car. I walked over and got into the passenger seat.
"How was school my sweet Karly?" My dad said.
"Same old, same old dad." I replied.
The ride back to my house was quick and quiet. We pulled into the garage and I ran inside and up to my room. I slipped off my converse and flopped on my bed. After scrolling around on Twitter and Instagram, I pulled out my guitar and started to play.
Music has always been a way for me to just escape. Escape from all the drama in my life. To just feel free.
I've been playing a lot of sad songs lately. My last breakup is finally getting to me. My boyfriend, or is guess ex boyfriend, broke up with me almost a year ago. I still haven't got over him. David is perfect. Well, almost perfect.
He had almost everything I wanted in a guy, and when that happens, it's hard to find somebody else. Nobody will measure up to him, and you can't downgrade. You can only upgrade.
I decided to take a nap to try and forget about it all for as long as I could.
I woke up and it was around 8 o'clock. I walked downstairs to the kitchen and my mom was calling my name.
"Karly! American Idol is on! Do you wanna watch it with me?" My mom asked.
"No thanks!" I replied. I actually hated that show. That show was nothing but drama. It's not even about talent anymore.
I went to get a bottle of water and decided that I should work on my English essay. I realized that my laptop was still with my mom so I better go get it then.
I walked into the living room, about to ask my mom where it is, when something catches my attention.
"My name is Trevor Douglas, I'm 16, and from Fort Worth, Texas." I heard.
What?
This guy seems cute. More than cute. There's something about this guy.
I need to know more.
Helllooooooooo!!!! This is a story that I've decided to start. I know this chapter is insanely short, but it's just a way of me asking.... Should I continue? Leave me comments if you think I should start writing this. I have a billion ideas and I already know where I'm going with this whole book but I need you to comment if you would read it! Haha! I love everyone that takes the time to read this! :)
