Max's place
'Wow! These cookies are amazing! Did you make them yourself?' Zoey asked, loving the delicious cookies.
'Oh no, my neighbor made them for me. She's old, and very nice.' Max replied.
'Well, that's very nice! Let's do something nice for her.'
'Like what?'
Zoey proposed making her a cake. So, she and Max spent the rest of the day baking it and Zoey had to keep Max from eating all the frosting.
Max's neighbor, whose name was Lily, loved the cake.
'You 2 make such a nice couple! I'm glad you 2 loved my cookies!' She said.
'Wait, you made them for Zoey and I?'
'Yes! She's always around, and you 2 make such a lovely couple.'
'Well, thank you. We do make a great couple!' Max replied.
After that, Lily continued to show her appreciation for Max and Zoey by baking them goods. And Max kept thanking her with hugs, and the occasional cake.
