A Sudrian Outbreak...

Evacuating Sodor...

March 21st, 2020; Time: 8:30am

Well, well, well! Seems turning people into zombies back fired on Emily & Boomer! Zombie Rosie and a large horde of human zombies tried to get in the docks by ramming their fence severely damaging it.  All (or most) of the human zombies on the island made up this horde and the mercenaries killed all of them but Zombie Rosie somehow escaped by running away like Zombie Arthur did at Knapford a week ago from today.  David & Oliver tried to hunt down and kill the zombie engines.  They got Zombie Phillip, and a badly mutated Stafford.  Stafford's right eye blew out and turned into a second, sharp-toothed mouth, and put him out of his misery...  For some strange reason, they couldn't find Zombie Arthur, Zombie Rosie, or any other zombified engines.  Gordon went to Crovan's Gate and killed Zombie Luke & a mutated Bertram, half of his face melted and became one large eye, Gordon was compelled to put him out of his misery as well.  Gordon also found another surviving engine, Sonny, from The Sodor Coal Plant! And brought him back to Tidmouth with us! When Donald & Douglas went out, they found Bertha, with a mutation that melted her left eye, and grow another small eye on her forehead.  What we're worried about now though aside from the assault, is three or two other engines were possibly mutated into beast engines 1, 2, & 4...  Sure enough, when James went out, he ran into the beast engine, this engine used to be Paxton, he and Sydney were two of three of our beloved Class 08 Diesel Shunters.  He had "Beast 4" spray painted on both sides..  James shot and killed Paxton, but here in the base as he foolish ran from it at the branchline junction station, leading it back to Tidmouth.  James firmly didn't want to leave the base again after that.  But this meant the first two beast engines were still out there with the zombie engines reeking havoc on the island.  The human zombies were dead as mentioned, so The Queen wanted to evacuate and abandon Sodor all together after Parliament discovered The Skarloey Railway's Controller, Mr. Peregrine Percival, and The Small Railway's Controller, Bertie Williams, were captured and killed by the mercenaries at Brendam Docks after the British Military refused to ransom money for those two Controllers...  They know The Small Railway Engines have been dead for a week now, but Sir Topham Hatt told them about those engines aside from two were okay and wanted us surviving standard gauge engines to aide in getting those engines off the island as soon as possible to start the island's evacuation.  We (us four, Reginald, & Colt) were assigned by The Fat Controller to aid the military in getting the surviving Skarloey Engines in escaping the island.  We are scheduled to go back to Crovan's Gate with flatbed wagons to put them in tomorrow.  Gordon & Molly are assigned to gather flatbed wagons and evacuate The Culdee Fell Incline Railway at Kirk Machan where the railway meets the standard gauge NWR.  Bertha was ordered to stay in the repair shed.  Sonny, James, David, Oliver, Donald, & Douglas, were ordered to take turns protecting Tidmouth.  We all had to meet each other at Barrow-Furness, Gordon & Molly have a longer journey ahead of them compared to us though...   

March 22nd, 2020; Time: 10am

We passed Arlesdale to no horde of human zombies but Murdoch's corpse was still there...  But, we jumped in fright as a Zombified Toby roared and chased after us and the engines! We reached Crosby when we hear a familiar but unfamiliar whistle, then Zombie Toby couldn't chase us as this other engine caught and stopped Zombie Toby.  We looked back and saw a horribly mutated Duck saving us! "GO!!! I'll deal with him!" Duck yelled at us, and Gordon & Molly certainly did go! We stayed behind to help Duck.  But before we could stop, Zombie Toby's brakes busted and the two lunged in reverse, and crashed into The Crosby Station! Duck was killed upon impact, and bits of the station killed Toby...  Another grizzly, and sad sight to behold...  With that, we had to just go on to Crovan's Gate...  

March 22nd, 2020; Time: 2pm

We arrived at Crovan's Gate to find a small battle taking place there, the survivors & the narrow gauge engines, versus the standard gauge zombie engines that appeared seemingly from no where before we arrived.  Suddenly, one of the 2 surviving beast engines ambushed poor Kevin, eating him alive in one bite...   This beast engine, it used to be Spencer...   He had "Beast 2" spray painted on both sides of his tender...  Zombified Dawson (Our newest former Great Western Tank Engine), Derek, BoCo, Wilbert, and to our surprise a horribly injured Zombie Daisy, were attacking Crovan's Gate Works! Suddenly, a grenade went off and killed only Zombie Wilbert, his body went flying into the repair shed on the narrow gauge railway! Skarloey then yelled "MILLIE!!! NOOOOOO!!!!", to our horror, Ulfstead Castle's narrow engine Millie was the only one in the repair shed being repaired in order to abandon the railway with the other narrow gauge engines...  We had our work really cut out for us right now! Skarloey, Rheneas, & Duke were armed and trying to kill the zombie engines from The Skarloey Rails they run on! The rest were unarmed and hiding in the shed.  Our two long boogied flatbed wagons somehow managed to get Peter Sam, Sir Handel, Duncan, & Rusty all on.  Just just needed to return for Duke, Rheneas, & Skarloey later.  Once those four were fastened and secured to the flatbed trucks, we immediately sped off to Barrow-Furness! At the junction we met Gordon & Molly with Shane Dooley, Patrick, Culdee, Eric, & Ernest all on their flatbeds in tow, saying they just needed to go back and get Alaric & Wilfred with one flatbed.  All of the Culdee Fell's Rolling Stock was zombified but with only grenades they killed them all they concluded to Reginald & Colt. 

March 22nd, 2020; Time: 3:56pm

We arrived at Barrow-Furness with the smaller engines unscathed.  Molly shunted away their unneeded flatbed car there, and her & Gordon sped back off to Kirk Machan.  The Narrow Engines were given to Scott (Robert & Gordon's Little Brother most well known as "The Flying Scotsman") who was sent to get the loads of smaller engines.  We got two different flatbeds as to keep from wasting time loading & unloading the narrow gauge engines we just gave him our flatbeds they were fastened to already.  Before we could speed off to Crovan's Gate again, we suddenly hear a familiar horn, followed by a familiar whistle.  They belonged to Bear & Robert! They looked to have been beaten up badly, Bear had a black eye, and Robert had a deep red cut on his left cheek.  Robert said he tried to save both Bear & Richard from Diesel 10, Pinchy (D10's Claw), scratched his cheek during the ordeal.  He was thankful he did at least save Richard, he & Bear weren't s lucky at first he said grimly...  He then continued to say how they both were interrogated brutally at The Brislington Ironworks by Frankie & Hurricane.  We told them about Tidmouth and that they should be safe there if they didn't opted to stay here (which they didn't, they headed straight to Tidmouth).  We quickly left our new empty flatbeds back to Crovan's Gate. 

March 22nd, 2020; Time: 5pm

We arrived back a few minutes early.  Just in time, as a small squad of those damn mercenaries came and attacked Crovan's Gate! They started by launching missiles at us from the top of that blasted ruined supermarket's hill!!! Duke yelled at Rheneas to load up and get on one of the flatbeds before it's too late! Ivo Hugh arrived and he wasn't mutated or a zombie, but the men aimed and launched a missile at Ivo Hugh, but Duke saved him and took the missile head on, Duke died a war hero for that reason alone...  We loaded Rheneas on the flatbed and then loaded Ivo Hugh on the same flatbed as Rheneas, the two mourned Duke on the flatbed but quickly stopped they realized Skarloey was still fighting.  Then a missile came hurling at us and our train! We braced for impact, but only the empty 2nd flatbed got stuck...  It was slung off the rails and into the station building destroying it in an instant.  Skarloey's Driver then suddenly ran out and put a red tail lamp on the surviving flatbed, then Skarloey said his final goodbyes to us, Rheneas & Ivo Hugh, he concluded his tearful goodbyes with yelling to the top of his lungs, "LONG LIVE THE SKARLOEY LINE!!!" and resumed his vein attack...  Another missile we thought was actually hurling towards Reginald & Colt! As we were leaving, it actually hit and killed Skarloey...  We had no choice but to speed off back to Barrow-Furness at the point...
