It had been a week since they left the beach house, and things finally felt normal again. Even though it was technically a new normal thanks to Camila and Lauren's budding relationship. After driving them back home late Friday afternoon, Camila had dinner with Lauren and Leo before setting off for her own apartment, leaving with a bear hug for Leo and a gentle kiss for Lauren. Camila felt like she hadn't stopped smiling since.

Camila had joined Lauren for lunch at the CEOs office twice during the week. Apparently, whenever Lauren had to spend a day at the office she basically forgot how humans function and didn't eat. Camila deemed this completely unacceptable and vowed to bring lunch for her if she knew she was at Jauregui Corp.

Since Camila had taken the previous week off of work, she had a full-on week when she returned. The couple lunches she managed to have with Lauren were about all she was able to get away with which meant she hadn't been able to spend time with both Lauren and Leo.

Lauren had called her a few times; Leo wanting to speak to the brunette he had become so close with. She would chat with Leo for a bit before he would go to bed, talking with him about his day and things he was looking forward to, sometimes even telling him an intricate story – one night he even fell asleep mid-story, the photo Lauren sent her of Leo passed out on her was adorable. Then once Lauren put Leo to bed they would spend the rest of the night talking with each other. They would talk about anything and everything until all hours of the morning. Lauren found herself opening up to Camila in a way she never had with anyone before. There was just something about Camila that made Lauren feel safe, and able to share her deepest thoughts and feelings. She also had a way of constantly making Lauren laugh; Whether it was a funny story, a classic joke or just a witty remark. Even at the end of a sad story, when Lauren felt her emotions getting the better of her, Camila always managed to make her smile again.

Friday found Camila unable to contain her excitement throughout the day. She was going to see Leo for the first time since they left the beach, but also, Sofi was going to be joining them for dinner. Camila was equal parts terrified and excited (okay maybe a little bit more excited).

Which is how she found herself sitting at her desk with a huge grin on her face, but her knee bouncing nervously. She was pretty sure she had achieved nothing since she got to work that morning.

"Karla!"

Uh-oh. Dianna only called her Karla when she was annoyed. Circling around her desk, Camila made her way into her boss's office.

"Yes, Miss Agron?"

Even though Camila and Dianna had a fairly close relationship and Camila usually called her Dianna, sometimes she just couldn't shake the 'Miss Agron' habit.

"What is so fascinating?"

"I uh- Excuse me?"

"You have been staring into thin air with this whimsical, giddy look plastered on your face for the last I don't know how long," Lauren said waving her hand around in the air the way she always does, as she made her way over to her desk and sat down.

"Whimsical, giddy look? Those two words don't exactly-"

The glare Dianna shot her over the top of her glasses had Camila clamping her jaw shut.

"So, I ask again: What is so fascinating? What is such a distraction?" Dianna rested her chin on interlocked fingers, eyeing Camila with a curious yet stern expression.

Camila floundered momentarily, mouth opening and closing but no words were coming out. A simple raised eyebrow from Dianna had Camila sighing, shoulders sagging in defeat.
