Adopted by a Way MCR fanfic

2 : Coming home / getting caught / finding out

Tim took me for a long drive and told me we were going to my new home. I wondered what it would be like when I get there, hopefully better than the other 'homes' I've lived at. Tim and I talked for a long time, getting to know each other. After a hour of talking, Tim said that we would be driving for another couple hours cause my new house was awhile away so I should rest and can sleep, so I put in my headphones and listened to any random old song that came up on my iPod.

      After what seemed like only a few minutes, I was shook lightly awake to find Tim smiling warmly at me from my now open door. Oh god, here already? Well, time to find out how this is going to end up.
"Come on Alex, we're here. Welcome home!" I looked outside to find a huge house, it wasn't to posh or old, just comfy and warm. We walked in and Tim took me to my new room, it was big with a bay window, a king size bed with a dark blue comforter, lots of pillows, a drum set, guitar, and bass. It also had a laptop and record player, walk in closet and my own bathroom.
I was speechless. Tim just laughed and said I could get unpacked, and do whatever, my dad would be home in a couple hours and if i wanted I could go to bed and get to see him in the morning. So, I got unpacked, had a shower and went to bed. My bed was soooo comfy and very warm compared to my bed in the orphanage. As soon as my head hit my pillow and I took in the warmth I fell into a deep sleep.

Mikey's POV

I had sent Tim to go pick up Alex today. I wish I could have gone myself. I was going to go myself, but the guys took my keys and dragged my into their car to the studio. We were working on a new album for a comeback, and surprise to appear at warped tour.
"Yo, Mikey, dude what is up with you today? You keep zoning out and look like your gonna puke." I didn't even know who was talking I was so zoned out, but I ignored their questions and went to take a break.
      After practice for another 2 hours I got a text from Tim saying that he had Alex at home and she was awsome, understanding of why I couldn't get her and was asleep. I quickly jumped up exited to see my new daughter and wanted to be there when she woke up. The guys looked at me like I was crazy.
"Dude, you ok?"
"Mikster, sup?"
"Ok what's really going on Mikey? You've been acting weird all today."
"I HAVE A SURPRISE AT HOME THAT I NEED TO SEE! YOU ALL HAVE TO WAIT TILL TOMORROW TO SEE!" I ran out to the car, the guys quickly in tow.
When we got home I told the guys that unless they stayed in their rooms all night they wouldn't get find out the surprise. So they all ran to their room, I should have known that they would because they love surprises. As soon as i was getting ready to go to my own room, I quickly looked into the room I got for Alex, I found her sleeping soundly in her bed. She looked so peaceful and cute. I couldn't wait until tomorrow when I finally get to meet her in person.
"Good night princess, sleep tight, I can't wait to meet you in the morning." I whisper in her room.
"Meet who tomorrow? Whatcha hiding Mikey? TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME!" Gerard whines loudly, scaring me.
"Holly shit Gee. WTF do you want to wake her? God if you'll be quiet I'll tell you in my room. God guess you need to now every secret and surprise." I say growing my hands in the air. As we go to walk in my room I notice Gee looking in Alex's room, "Gerard Arthur Way get your ass in here and leave her alone already if you want to know or not. God!"
As soon as we get in my room it starts, "ok, who's the girl she's so cute, where'd she come from, what's her name, how long is staying, does she like MCR, how old is she, is she the surprise, when did she get here-"
"Gee shut it! Her name is Alex, she's 15, I'm pretty sure Tim said she's a killjoy, I hope she stays forever, yes she's the surprise, and she came from the worst orphanage you could ever find, she's my new daughter, I adopted her and had Tim pick her up today since none of you would fricken let me out of practice!"
"OH. MY. GOD. I'm gonna be an uncle?! Yahhhhhhhh! This is awsome!" He starts jumping up and down and talking about girl time. God, well, he is my brother.
"Though heads up she doesn't know I adopted her or that any of us are, well, us! I wanted it to be a surprise for everyone, her meeting us, you and the guys finding out I adopted, us meeting her, cause heads up she and I have not met yet. and yah, so go back to bed and in the morning everyone can find out and it'll be a big surprise! Ok Gerard?"
"And I'm off to bed!" Gee runs out, though stopping and tiptoeing when he gets to Alex's room and takes one last peek inside her room to make sure he didn't wake her before he tiptoes until he's past her room, then runs the rest of the way. I just laugh and go to bed. I can't wait till tomorrow!

Gerard's POV

Mikey just told me about Alex, I'm so exited! I can't believe he didn't tell me about this sooner, I would have kept it a secret, and loved to know, he could have given me a heads up or something! I quickly go to leave mikes room and head for my own though remember there's a little sleeping girl who doesn't know really where she is or who else is in the house. So I tiptoe, trying not to wake the new sleeping princess of the house, though I check in her room just to make sure, only to find her snuggling soundly with her pillows and looked so comfy rapped in all her blankets. I felt happy that Mikey did this, and from what he said about the orphanage he got her from she seems to perfect to be in such a terrible place. After making sure that Alex was ok, I got to my room and fell right asleep wondering about how the other guys are gonna react when they see Alex, ohh it's gonna be an awsome day tomorrow!
