The chili dog cook off

Sonic and Noah had been roommates for three weeks and had been on crazy adventures, now they where back at Noah's house enjoying the summer. Noah was sitting in the living room watching a movie while Sonic was in the kitchen making lunch for the both of them. Hey Noah, I want you to try what I'm making. Sonic said excitedly. Noah walked over to the kitchen. Okay, whacha making? Chili dogs! Sonic replied.  Now, I want you to give it a try and give me your honest opinion. Noah took a fork and took a bite. Well? Sonic asked. Noah looked at Sonic and asked. Do you hate me? What? It can't be that bad. Sonic said now defeated. Sonic listen, It's not as bad as you are making it seem. But Noah, it needs to be perfect. Why, whats the occasion? Next week, there is going to be a chili dog cook off in the mall parking lot. Isn't that by Mobius Wireless? Noah was sure he knew where it was. Yes it is, anyway, I want to win first place. What do you get when you win first place? You get an all expense paid trip to Hawaii. Oh, the most beautiful place in the world? Noah eagerly asked Yes! And I've always wanted to visit. Wait you're the fastest thing alive, can't you just run to Hawaii? Yes, but that's not the point. The point is, I want people to try my chili dogs, I want the world to know that Sonic the Hedgehog can make the best chili dogs in the world. Now tell me, what am I missing or what should I remove? Well for starters you added salt, no one in their right mind would add salt to chili dogs. Secondly if you want to please the people, you need to add spice. Spice? Sonic was confused on why he needed to add spice to something that isn't spicy to begin with. Yes, spice is the key winning anything. Just ask my Grandpa who won 45 gold trophies back in 1973. Noah said while walking to grab a photo album to show Sonic. Wow that's impressive! Sonic said while looking at the photos. Yeah my grandpa was the best. Now lets start over. Sonic and Noah spent the next couple of hours remaking Sonic's chili dogs. OK now that we got your chili dogs looking good. Lets add the spice. What do you recommend? I think we should use the Carolina Reaper pepper. Noah replied with the biggest smirk on his face. Wait the Carolina Reaper? Sonic asked hoping Noah was messing with him. Yeah, is something wrong with that? Noah, I hope you know that the Carolina Reaper is the hottest pepper in the world. Yeah I know, lets add it. No wait, lets check the rules before doing it. Why, what's the worst that happen? Uh, it could possibly leave people with 3rd degree burns, and we could be disqualified and possibly arrested. Ugh fine. Noah replied defeated.  What's the website? I think it's mobiuschilidogcontests.com. Noah replied. Sonic entered it onto his phone. Okay here we go, let's see what the rules are. Sonic scrolled to the rules. Okay so the rules are  as follows. 1. Make the best chili dogs to win this contest.  2. All the hot dogs must must be cooked all the way before you turn it in to the judges. 3. The Chili Dogs must be turned into the judges table and must stay there until the judging is over. 4. You can make the Chili Dogs at home however they must be hot and ready for the judges. 5. You can add any spice of your choosing. (The more spice that you add the better) 6. The judging starts at 230PM on Monday. And those are all of the rules for this contest. See the website said that we can use any spice that we wanted. Noah said, satisfied with the rules. Okay then lets get cooking. Sonic replied as he put his phone away. The two spent the next three and a half hours making the chili dogs for the cook off. Okay now that we are  done we can put it away and wait for Monday to arrive. Later that night Sonic was tossing and turning as he dreamed of the cook off. Sonic and Noah was at their table waiting for the judge to finish judging their chili dogs. The judge took out his pencil and wrote something on his clipboard and took the piece of paper and turned it upside down like a teacher does after returning the tests to the students. The judge said not to look at the paper until he was done judging the rest. Once he was done judging the rest of the contestants. He said that they could look at the score and note that he had left and went back to his table. Sonic picked up the paper that the judge left and read it to himself. Los Angeles Chili Dog cook off 2022. Judge name: Ramsey J Gordon. Notes: This is the worst chili dog that I've ever tasted in my entire life. Grade: F. Sonic and Noah both looked at each other with shock. I can't believe that he said that about our chili dogs. Sonic said. We worked so hard on them. Noah put a hand on Sonic's shoulder. Hey it's okay, don't worry about what he thinks. He's just jealous because he's never eaten quality chili dogs in his life.  Sonic woke up from his dream breathing heavily. It was all just a dream. Sonic laid back down on his bed and went back to sleep.
