I lived with my mother for the first four years of my life. We lived in a forest a long distance from any other civilisation. Cus guess what we are, felines. The felines have been hunted and kept as servants for decades and my mom and I kept as low of a profile as possible. I was really close with my mother and we spent all of our time together. But then one day it all went to shit. Mom woke me up in the middle of the night with tears in her eyes, mom never cries. NEVER.I was pulled up from my bed and I asked her what was wrong but she just gave me a pained look. So we just ran. I could hear the screams of people behind us but when I looked back I couldn't see anyone.. or anything. So we just kept running. my legs were burning just as much as the tears running down my face, and just as much as from where my mom was gripping my wrist. After about 2 hours of constant running I was exhausted, I have never been that tired, I have never felt so lost ever. My mother picked me up and put me in her now sweaty and warm arms. And then she just kept on walking while I tried not to fall asleep. After a while a soft light was beginning to shine through the oak trees we had been wondering about for hours. That was when my mom put me down on the ground once again, my figure shook a bit from the pure exhaustion it was in. That was when she told me something that made my stomach drop. The house we were now standing in front of was my fathers. The man I had never met in my short life of four years was now willing to meet me? Why, and why now why hasn't mother taken me here before? Why were we running and why in the middle of the night? A hand on my shoulder stopped all of the flowing thoughts so that they came to a halt. "Emmie, dear... This is the last time we will see eachother okej?" My mother told me with tears streaming down her face.. I looked up at her with big blue eyes. "What" "I'm sorry sweetheart I love you so much" Was the last thing she said before sprinting away leaving me by the small house. I fell to my knees as the sun began to rise behind the tall mountains. "Klick" I whipped my head around and looked up at a man? He had two big horns sticking out of his head and he looked at me with a kind smile. "Hello my beautiful daughter."
